It was a late evening in February as John Deacon tried to find some old cd- records in the cellar. John lived in a big yellow house in England. The house had a big garden with flowers and pear trees. John had been very private since 1997 when he left queen, and lived a quiet family life now. Brian and Roger where still active, and toured with a man called Adam Lambert. He was not as brilliant as Freddie was, of course, but he was okay. John didn't really like the idea of touring without Freddie, but he still supported their projects. He didn't think it was right to take some random guy to replace an as ingenious and brilliant man as Freddie. John hadn't talked so much with Bri and Roger in a while, which actually was very sad.
The door creaked when the ex queen member John Deacon opened it. The cellar was full of lumber as old soda bottles from the 70's, sun beds from the 80's, old clothes from his kids childhood and much more. As he was seeking for the records he almost stumbled over an old box.
"Hmm... What can be hiding in that box?" He taught.
John forgot about the records and took up the box to the house. He opened it.
*cough cough*
The box was very dusty.
"This is the box with my old photo albums from my Queen days!" He exclaimed.
"I don't think I have opened this since 1997 when I left Queen." He said for him self. John took up the photo albums and sorted them in the right order from 1975 to 1997 on the floor. He picked up the first photo album. 1975 to 1977. The first photo was of the whole band. John smiled. He rememberd the picture as if it was taken yesterday. Freddie had insisted in that they should have big furs and high heeled glitter shoes. Freddie sat on John's shoulders and smiled like he was the king of the world. Roger smiled and tossed with his big blonde hair which he was very proud of. Brian played air guitar and John made a goofy face. The caption was: Queen goofing around in the studio in 1975.The pictures in the photo albums took him back in time, and he remembered how much he had loved Queen. When John came to the photo album of the year 1991, he took a deep breath before he started to read. There was a picture of Freddie only one week before his death. A tear fell on John's chin. Freddie had a pale face and looked tired; but he smiled the way only Freddie could smile. The pictures from Freddie's funeral made him cry even more. He remembered Freddie's last words to him. I love you Deaky, I hope I won't see you until it's necessary. I'm gonna miss you, bye darling. The main reason that he had left the band was actually his depression after Freddie's death. And, in fact he hadn't really got over it yet.
When he has finished all the photo albums, he saw a letter at the very bottom of the box. He wiped off his tears, picked up the letter and started to read it. It was from Freddie after an argument they had had. There stood:
Dear John.
I am sorry about our argument, I didn't mean to be as upset as I was. I taught about it, and I realised that you was right the whole time. I hope you can forgive me, and always remember this: Whatever happens, remember that you are one of my best friends, and I will ALWAYS love you. If anything happens to you, you can always call me and I will help you. No matter where I am or what I am doing, you can call me. And if anything happens to me, please go on as usually and remember me as one of your most devoted fans and one of your best friends.
As I said, I hope you forgive me.
Love FreddieThe letter was about a pretty big argument John and Freddie had had in 1981. Their friendship had almost ended! When he had read the letter, and wiped off the tears, he got an idea; The cd's had got to wait.
