The journey towards Dwarka which was proceeding ahead with a gradual pace was halted due to sickness of Subhadra. She got fever for herself when she was drenched in rain after being denied by Arjun. He took her to the healer of a village, and villagers after discovering their actual identities, offered them a stay of few days with him.
He too accepted the offer as she needed time to get recovered, and living under sky wouldn't be a better choice in that case. He was allowed to meet her after she being checked and given medicine by the healer.
"It seems like you are upset with me. I am so.........," he thought she might be silent since she didn't wish to talk to him, and the reason was he had mildly scolded her due to her sickness.
"No, I am not at all upset with you," she didn't let him apologize, and cleared the confusion.
"Then, did the medicine taste so bitter to sit you silent?" He spared a curious glance at her.
"Yes, the medicine was too bitter, but I am not silent due to that," her expression turned to be slightly sulky at the mention of medicine.
"Then, what has stolen the words of this great combination naughtiness and naivety?" The compliment was unexpected from him who had a smile, matching the tone of his compliment.
"My stubbornness of disobeying your words has done so. I should haven't made myself sick like this. You have come to drop me at my home safely, leaving your home, and I have added difficulty to our journey," she was guilty of not listening him, and loaded him with a new trouble.
"To be honest, I think it's not a trouble. Accomplices of Kalyavan are behind us, and being in this village is suitable for few days as we will get time to plan next route of our journey," wittiness claimed its vibe in his tone, adding a slight shade of seriousness to his charm.
"And, I will get to explore more of your personality," noticing her expression unlike him, he chose to divert attention from being serious which would haven't been good for her health.
"You look damn cute while confessing. I feel like letting you do more of your stubbornness," he bursted into a chain of laughter, making her gasp in utter surprise.
"You are making me embarrassed," she turned her face from him with a complaining pout.
"You are looking cuter now," he laughed more.
She could have been acted stern, holding her expression, but the ecstasy of seeing him laughing made her laugh too, of course in a pace slower than him.
