Present :
"Hmmm...it's perfectly cooked while having good flavor. Who are you kid."- menchi states
"It's y/n not kid" I say irritated.
"Hahah okay, okay kid you pass"-menchi
As time goes by menchi fail everyone.
Stating how no one changed the flavor of their dish only changing it's appearance.
Everyone starts to get aggravated and was starting to revolt against her decision.
A guy charges at menchi aggravated that he might have to do the hunters exam agin next year. I instinctively stop him in his tracks holding a knif to his neck.
"Unless you want to die I suggest you back the fuck off." I say in a killing tone.
He backs off and returns to the rest of the applicants. As I walk back to my spot I see hisoka staring at me with a pleased expression. 'Why is he so damn creepy'. I say to my self.
Everyone was surprised about how quickly I acted the shut up and let menchi finish talking.
"So it seems like only y/n is able to actually make something that is edible I guess she the only one to pass". As she starts to walk away
"The again it would be excessive to fail the rest of the applications." I look up to see where the sound is coming from as I see a large blimp appears in the sky.
Then a man jumps out of the blimp landing on the ground causing a large dust cloud.
"The chairman of the section committee... he's in charge of the hunters exam." Menchi explains
"Soo this old man is in charge of everything huh" - I mumble under my breath
Menchi and the chairman exchange word going back and forth about why menchi decided to fail the rest of the applicants.
Menchi then apologizes and says she will step down from being an examiner. When i stop her by saying something that shocks everyone including myself.
"Hey... they might not of been gourmet chef but give them another chance."! I say defending the rest of them.
"Hmm so are you willing to give up your passing dish for me to redo this exam." Menchi said with a smile.
"Sure I can pass you next exam just as easy as it took me to get through this one". I said with the upmost confidence.
"Well since y/n gave up her pass to redo this exam for the rest of you, follow me to your new challenge"
'Ok maybe I should have kept my mouth shut'
She looks at the chairman and ask if he can take us in his blimp to Mt. split-in-half. He agrees and we soon arrive on a huge mountain.
We all walk to the edge of the cliff and as I look over the edge there's eggs at the bottom attached to spider webs. With what it looks like a bottomless pit right below. I feel a little gust of air come up as I get the idea about why were up here.
Other are looking at her in confusion as she states "y/n since you say that you can pass this exam easily you can go first.
I take a deep breath a turn around and do a backflip off the cliff then grabbing one in the webs. Changing my position to holding on with just my legs hanging upside down. I could feel my arm hair stand straight so I let go. I grab an egg and start to fall towards the bottom the the mountain. When I look up and hear menchi scream "Shit she let go to soon".
She looks a little panicked and then everyone starts to freak.
Soon it goes dark and just as I planed the a gust of air hits and sends me flying in the air.
"Hahahaha... yahoo". I say soaring through the sky then landing in the cliff with the egg
Extended towards menchi.
"See I told you that it would be easy".
She takes the egg from me with a sigh of relief.
"Alright you pass"... then turns to everyone and say "that was your demonstration now it's your turn". -menchi
Some are too scared and decide to stay in the cliff while the others jump. Hanging onto the webs like I did. Some let go to early and fall to their death. In fear of the web snapping unable to hold all their weight.
While the smart ones follow gon's lead and they make it back up to the cliff after catching the drift.
Gon runs up to me showing the egg he got.
I return his exitment with a smile and "say good job". And the turn around and say " you too killua"
He seems to blush and walk away. He turns back around to say something then menchi cuts him off by saying "okay it's time to boil these eggs now".
We all boil our eggs
"Wow This taste better than store eggs"- y/n
"I know what you mean"- kurapika
*learning that weather your an lack list hunter or a gourmet hunter calling yourself a hunter takes determination and courage*.
We all go on the blimp on to the next hunters exam. Netero introduces him self to all of use as the chairman of this years hunter exam. The secretary introduced himself as bean and stared that we would would arrive at our destination tomorrow at 8 a.m
"In the mean time there is food in the dining hall and you are welcome to rest."-bean
"Hey y/n , gon let's go explore the air ship"- killua said.
"Alright"- y/n
"Yeah"- gon
We ran all around the air ship exploring each of the rooms as we came accross, kurapika and leorio in one room I stayed behind to talk with them while killua and gon went on with exploring.
"Hey y/n"- kurapika
" what's up are you gonna get some rest"-y/n
I look over to see leorio already asleep.
" yeah... just for a price of advice I suggest you don't let your guard down while where here. Tonpa told us the third exam could start right now".
" ha bullshit, he's just trying to get you to stay awake. Then when we arrive at the third exam you'll be dog tired."- y/n
"I guess your right whelk I'll get some sleep, gon and killua are probably done exploring air ship"- kurapika
" all right see you later"- I wave to kurapika as I make my way to find killua and gon.
I walk a little ways when I see gon and killua being thrown out of the kitchen.
"HEY.. WHAT ARE YOU KIDS DOING. GET OUT" - cook
I run over to killua and gon to see their satisfied look across their face. With their huge price of meat in their hands.
*40 min later walking down the halls*
"Mmm... y/n here you should try some"- gon
" no thank so still full from the egg at Mt split in half" -y/n
"Seriously that was over 5 hours ago"- killua looks at me
"Here have some mine." Killua hold the piece of meat. He turned his head face clearly red.
"Guys I'm fine". I chuckle.
'I trained to be able to to able to go weeks with out food so it's easy for me to not hungry'
"Okay"-gon
"What ever you say"- killua
We continue walking down the hall when killua sees something outside.
