5-Hopes and Dreams

After Adrien left, Marinette was in shock. She had never expected that afternoon to have gone so well. She went back in her room and layed on her bed continuing to replay that whole afternoon

"Marinette you did it! you finally spoke to Adrien without hesitation! i'm so proud of you!" Tikki said as she flew to Marinette's check for a hug

"Omg Tikki that was the best afternoon of my life! I got to hang out with Adrien. All my hopes and dreams are filled" Marinette said in a dreamy voice

"Ya it went so well that you guys were almost about to kiss"

"yaaaa... Ahhh omg we were ABOUT TO KISS! I can't believe that was going to happen! tha- that felt like a fever dream! Omg why did my mom have to come at the worst moment arggg" Marinette's mood quickly shifted from happy to anger as she missed the opportunity to kiss the love of her life. Marinette shoved the face in her pillow and smelt Adrien's cologne.

" omggg Tikki my pillow smells like ADRIEN omg, i'm never going to wash my pillow again!" Marinette was hugging her pillow tightly, that if it was a human she would be suffocating it

"Oh boy" Tikki said while slapping head

Marinette really enjoyed that afternoon and wanted to hang out again with Adrien, but based on past experiences she could never gain enough confidence to ask him out. This time should be different, but Marinette head starting to rush with possibilities.

"Tikki, what if he doesn't like me! what if he realized that i'm not good enough for him! what if he never wants to talk to me again and thinks i'm weird" 

Marinette was spiraling, pacing back and forth in her bedroom, creating  endless possibilities of how Adrien might hate her until Tikki had enough of her none sense, and with her little hand slapped Marinette against the face.

"hey what was that for?!"

"Marinette, get out of your head! you are worrying too much! I'm sure Adrien had a great afternoon, he kissed you on the cheek before he left, that had to mean something. Girl you need to get it together"

Marinette snapped out of her rant and reasoned with Tikki. Although, Marinette is typically calm and reasonable, expect in situations like this, when her thoughts spiral out of control. Luckily for her Tikki was always there to help her. Marinette would never know what to do without Tikki, she told Tikki everything. She was the only one she can talk about her double life. 

"Oh Tikki" Marinette cupped her hands to hold Tikki "What will I ever do without you? you are always there for me and you are so much more than just a Kawamii, you are my best friend"

Marinette lifted her hands to where Tikki could hug her cheek. 

The rest of the evening Marinette couldn't stop thinking about Adrien. She was so happy that Adrien felt comfortable to talk to Marinette about something so personal. She is really starting to think that they could really be in a relationship! 

*At Adrien's house*

Once Adrien got home he too fell straight on his bed, day dreaming about that afternoon.

"Wow Plagg, I never knew how awesome Marinette was. She is so intelligent, kind and always wants to help others, she is truly amazing" 

Love was filled in Adrien's eyes. He had never felt such strong feelings towards Marinette. He always had his mind on Ladybug, but even since Desperata his feelings towards Ladybug changed. He still had a special place for Ladybug in his heart, but he wasn't sure things can go back to how it was. 

"Wow Adrien, you almost look as happy as when I see a beautiful Camembert" Plagg said mockingly

"I really like Marinette, Plagg. I want to spend more time with her but how?"

"Oh I know! put her in sever danger then save her as cat noir!" 

Adrien scoffed and said "Plagg, you better be kidding, I would never want to hurt Marinette"

For the rest of the evening Adrien replayed every moment in his head. Thinking about the moment they were about to kiss. It's funny how Marinette, who is Ladybug, helped Adrien forget about Ladybug. Adrien wanted to see Marinette again soon so he decides to walk Marinette to school the next day. Besides Ladybug, Marinette was the only one to make Adrien happy.
