My brown orbs open on this new, bright, sunny day! It's a beautiful day to be an educator, and even more beautiful day to be me- Molly-Russel!

I don't have any classes today, so it's going to be an even better day! My orbs continue scanning until I find it.

AHA! There it is!

My switch!

Before I get started, I do my morning routine and I make myself some breakfast. After a light breakfast, I head back to my room to play my favorite game, Animal Crossing. I join a discord room and I see my man, Geremy (pronounced like a "J"). A lot of people tease us because he's on house arrest, but at least I know I'm not getting catfished. I know Geremy, his past and present, and his highs and lows, and we accept each other and grow together. When he gets off of a parole, I'm going to visit him in California and we're going to take a baecation. Everything's great with me and Geremy, but the only thing is, he won't tell me what he went to prison for.

I play Animal Crossing a little more and later say bye to everyone in the chat room. I work on some school stuff for a little while and prepare a couple of projects that I have on Monday. By the time I'm done with that, I decide to head to the Zoo to see what everyone else is to.

"Hey, wyd?" I text Yericela— maybe she wants to watch a true crime documentary or go to TJ Maxx, Trader Joe's, Tee Jays, Target, or any other store that starts with a "T".

As I'm walking to the DC, I get a text. Thinking it's Yericela, I open it ASAP, but to my dismay, it's just Geremy texting me a picture. I zoom in. Is his...bed...on the ground?

"Nice!" I respond encouragingly, not knowing what else to say.

When I finally reach the Zoo, it seems like everyone is there. Everyone, but Yericela. I walk in and take in my environment.

Lassmine is handing Bustin her ID. Narcos and Kebastian are asleep on a couple of bean bags. Pam, Kam, Saria, and André are twerking to "Bang Bang," which I'm assuming An-Dre put on the tv. Tauren, my roommate, is on trying to get some work done in the AAPI-a office. Nika is even on a couch typing!

I walk over to Lisa to start a conversation, "Hey! Have you seen Yericela?" Knowing that they hang out often.

"Hey, Molly-Russel! I actually haven't. I was gonna ask you the same thing," Lisa responds. Before Bustin leaves, we ask him, and he says the same thing.

"I actually haven't seen her in almost a week." SAME! By this time, everyone's talking about it.

"Yea, we were supposed to work out together on Sunday," Mack starts, "but she didn't show up! So I had to make a new record and bench press 285 lbs alone! :((("

I thought it was just me, but I at this point, I wasn't sure if I should be worried, seeing that no one else has really seen her in over a week. I voice my concern and we decide to call her. Maybe she's just taking a break from the Zoo, which we completely understand, but we just want to know if she's okay. I call her.

It keeps ringing.

Until it stops.

We reach her voicemail.

We sit in a worried silence for a little while and think of what else we could do.

Bustin provides the voice of reason, "Well, you know, Yericela does do stuff like this from time to time. She always disappears, and then she comes back. She'll appear any day now like nothing has happened!" We all chuckle. I guess that is true. He diverts the subject to uplift our spirits, "Tee Jays, anybody?!"

***

We all come back from Tee Jay's and a couple of other stops with our milkshakes and ice cream. By this time, it's late afternoon. Kebastian is at a circular table and Narcos is behind the desk, both of them typing profusely.

"Wowwww no invite?" They say in unison. Copy and paste.

"You know what, cry about it!" I snap. We tried to wake them.

Everyone's silent, but Chika thought of something to change the subject. Before she excuses herself to go to her class, she tells a joke about this guy and his friend who watch her for the full hour and quarter. We all chuckle and wish her the best.

We begin watching a true crime documentary with our ice cream, and I couldn't help but think about Yericela. Im not sure if I were just paranoid because we were watching this documentary, or if it were my intuition. I push those negative thoughts to the back of my mind, as it's probably just me overthinking. By the time we're done, I'm pretty spooked out and ready to go home. It's only 8p, but I couldn't help the yawn that escaped my mouth. You know this baby body has strict sleep regimens!

I call a doggo-ride on my phone and wait outside of the Zoo for it to get me. Within no time, the white van pulls up, and I sigh in relief. I could use a good joke from Grand, the driver, right about now. It slows down and I prepare to step inside. What I saw alarmed me, but kind of intrigued me.

The driver wasn't Grand.

It was Dr. Plunter.

I sat down as we locked eyes— my old professor, Nika's SiR, and now the doggo-ride driver?

"Where to?" His velvety voice addresses me, Molly-Russel.

"Home," I sigh , smile, and glance out the window, "I'm going home."
