jayden got out of bed with a heaved sigh , his head pounding as he reached for his phone.
he checked instagram, then tumblr, then twitter , but nothing new and exciting met him.
he checked youtube, and that's where he found a fresh face.
a small youtube channel, with only a couple thousand subscribers, had posted a video, and it had ended up in his feed. Alfiegheee.
he watched the brief video and thoroughly enjoyed it.
he decided to leave a friendly comment, i mean, what small youtuber wouldn't be overjoyed to receive a comment from worlds biggest youtuber, jayrules?

"this was so funny!"

he decided to find alfie on twitter and dm him there, building up the courage to ask if he wanted to collab.
to take his mind off of things, he went to feed his lil hamster, joey.
he took out the bowl, trying not to be bitten by the little shit, filling it with the generic hamster food.

after a few minutes of watching joey eat and fumble around his cage, he went over to his desktop, seeing alfieghee had eagerly replied.
as requested, jayden let alfie know his town, and he received a very excited response

"i live there too! will the town cafe be ok to meet up at?"

"sure absolutely !"

they talked for a short while to build trust before jayden went offline
