november 1:
landyn pov:
i took a shower. today was ja's first game at murray. today was also our one month anniversary. after our first date, we continued talking. after some time, i couldn't go one day without talking to him. he had me hooked again.

i wore his jersey with a black hoodie under it, some ripped jeans and my vapormaxes. it was currently 5:30 pm and the game didn't start till 7. so i had a little bit of time to stall.

i smilled to myself reading his text. i grabbed my purse and decided now it would be a good time to go ahead and head down to the arena since it was 6 o'clock now.

i texted ja letting him know i was here. the seats he got for me were actually really good. they were the row right behind the floor seats.

it was almost time for the guys to start warming up. i hurriedly went and got some popcorn from the concession stand.

about 2 minutes after i got back from the concessions. the boys came out and started warming up.

i saw ja, and i guess he saw me too and he blew me a kiss

i "caught it" and put in on my cheek and smilled and him

then he mouthed the words "i love you" with the biggest smile on his face

"i love you more" i mouthed back to him

josh and jalen both said hi to me when they came on my side of the gym while warming up.

with ja, josh, and jalen on the team. murray will be unstoppable this season.

it was currently the 4th quarter and murray was down 5 points. there was 1:13 left in the game.

i was nervously tapping my leg. wondering if they boys would come through or not.

jalen had the ball. he started to drive it in but then did a step back and shot a three

the crowd went wild and i went brazy

the boys were trying to stall time to try and get the last shot.

ja had the ball. and it was 10
seconds left

my eyes were heavily focused on him

he then pointed and me saying "this for you"

he went for a three from the elbow

and it was wet

i felt my cheeks heat up and the whole gym went insane. the boys ran to ja and started hyping him up.

i waited for ja in the stands to let him finish taking pictures with fans and all that stuff. it made me happy that he won his first game with the boys. and i knew he was even happier

he went in the locker room and got his things. he changed clothes while he was in there to. he just had some sweats and a team shirt

he did that lil athlete jog/walk and came over to me. i gave him a big hug and he bent down and kissed me.

"EWWWW LOOK AT THESE NIGGAS" i heard a loud voice behind me say. and i immediately knew it was josh.

"shut yo ass up nigga you just mad that you don't got nobody" ja replied laughing

"I DO HAVE SOMEONE"

"yea right" ja said

ja and i walked out the building. i had ryan drive me so we wouldn't be driving two cars back to the dorms.

"yk the shot i made for you?"

"of course duh"

"it's all over instagram"

he showed me his phone and i checked my notifs on insta realizing i was being tagged in some post. i clicked on it and the caption read

"ja morant dedicated winning shot to his girlfriend landyn"

i immediately started cheesing

"girl what got you smiling like that" he asked rhetorically

"cause i got that powerrrrr"

"boy shut up"

the rest of the car ride, ja told me about his feelings during the whole game. i was actually pretty interested. i liked hearing how he saw everything from his perspective.

he was gonna be staying in my dorm because ryan went to some party with her sister and niya was at her moms.

we got in my dorm and ja and i took a shower.

we got in the bed and then drifted off to sleep together.
