Paris France, April 3rd 5:00 AM

???:Good evening lieutenant Kateb.

A large man turns around in a chair dressed in a fully black military suit with a beret on his head. He gestures for you to sit on the chair across from him.

Y/N: Major Kateb.

You salute at the the higher ranked individual who lets out a chuckle and again motions for you to sit.

???:No need to be so formal when it's just us Y/N.

You take a seat in the chair and let out your own chuckle.

Y/N:Whatever you say Dad.

You both let out hearty laughs until your father gets a look of seriousness and you calm down.

Dad:As you know the higher command has began production on the new FSIF and is looking for a capable leader.

You light up a cigarette and have a thought at the back of your mind but decide to play dumb.

Y/N: What does this have to do with me?

You let out a puff of smoke the burning feeling in your lungs calming you down.

Dad: Haven't I told you to stop smoking your only 16. Anyways stop playing dumb I know you've been looking for a new role after your were demoted to lieutenant. The Prime minister has proposed an offer to you, take on the role of commander in the new force and be promoted back up to captain.

Your father crosses his arms and leans back in his chair. You take another drag of the cigarette your mind flashing back and fourth between your battle that got you demoted and your father.

Flashback

Y/N: Sir I swear I'm ready I may be only 15 but you know my father has been training me since I was 3 and I've been serving since I was 12 I'm ready for my first combat experience as a leader.

The major shakes his head and massages his temples.

Major: Fine, you get control of a platoon don't mess this up captain.

You flash into a battlefield gunfire surrounds you and explosions shake your mind and body.

Private: SIR WHAT DO WE DO WERE PINNED DOWN.

The private who was just talking tries to return fire but gets his head shot resulting in his skull exploding, his dead body falls down his now expressionless face stares at you.

Y/N O-Oh my god.

You watch as the blood flows from his head, you look back at his face images of his smiling face and his messy blonde hair falling over his eyes invaded your brain. You put your hands on your head and shake extremely. Without thinking you throw down your weapon and run towards the Evac point leaving behind your platoon and deciding to save your own skin. You take one last look and see your soldiers fighting bravely but the enemy begins to close in on them.

You flash to a room where you sit cradling your head and the major who put you in charge comes in with a sad look on his face. He sits across from you putting a hand on your shoulder.

Major: I didn't think you were ready... and I was right. I'm sorry Y/N your demoted to lieutenant and relieved of your duties for now.

You cut back to reality and release the smoke you had in your mouth.

Y/N:How many soldiers will I be commanding.

Your dad takes out a document and hands it to you.

Dad:Everything you need to know is in there read it over I'll wait.

You open the first page and read through the report.

^Lieutenant Y/N Kateb, you have been hand picked to become Brigade leader of the Japanese branch of the FSIF. Your salary will double as well you being restored back to the rank of captain. After reviewing your recent battle footage we have pushed away the fact that you are only 16. We respect your body count of 73 confirmed kills in your 12 covert missions. If you accept you will be asked to report to the Address marked on the back of this document by 11am April 3rd.

Sincerely
Colonel Turner

You read over the paper one last time before throwing it back on the desk. You take another drag of the cigarette put it out and blow the smoke into the air.
