Thrown against the wall hard, the breath knocked out of him, Sal stood and watched his drunk boyfriend as he was panting softly.

"Br-Brian— Can we not do this again right now, please?" Sal tried to plead with his boyfriend, but it wasn't long before Brian was pressing his body into Sal's.

"You were out too late again!" Q spoke, but most of his words were slurred. He leaned in and bit down hard on Sal's neck, resulting in a soft whimper coming from the younger Joker's lips.

Putting his hands on Brian's shoulders, he spoke again. "I told you I had a stand-up show tonight!"

Brian, no good at talk when he's drunk, quickly started to get handsy with Sal. His hands found their way up Sal's shirt which made the younger man retaliate by giving Q's arms a small push. He knew it was never a good thing to fight back, but he couldn't deal with it tonight. Stand-up was too exhausting that night.

Brian frowned at the rejection. What was Sal thinking, pushing his own boyfriend away like that?

"Brian, I have to have an early night tonight–! Please.." Sal stared at Q, pleading. The older Joker just stared at Sal, no response for a few moments, until he suddenly takes Sal's lip between his teeth, biting down on his lip.

The metallic taste of blood started to fill Sal's mouth before he tried to turn his head away and slide off the wall to the side, getting away from Brian. He hurried to the front door, opening it and going outside, seeing a dropped pair of panties from what Sal could guess was from a prostitute. He turned around to see Brian already standing in the doorway.

"These weren't here this morning... You cheated again, Brian?" Sal asked, he looked pitiful. Like he wanted to cry.

Meanwhile, Brian's facial expression softened, he was less drunk, less stumbly, and less slurry. He slowly began to approach Sal, voice softer.

"Baby, I didn't mean it. I didn't know when you were coming back tonight, so I paid her to keep me company. I fucked her, yes... I ate her out, yes... But you know that means nothing. You know I love you!"

Sal swallowed stiffly. He didn't know what to say. This happened way too much that Sal began to believe that Brian didn't truly love him. What kind of lover would cheat on you and get angry when you didn't want to be intimate? What kind of lover would bring you to your breaking point and then blame you for everything and turn around just to make you feel bad and make you feel like their suicidal thoughts are because of you?

Lost in thought, Sal didn't realize to start with when Brian was standing in front of him, up until he felt his thumb touching his lip, making Sal jump in surprise.

"Your lip... Look what you made me do, Sal.. It's bleeding... I don't like to hurt you, baby."

"I-It's okay, it only stung a little.. It'll heal up." Sal replied quietly.

"Well, c'mon. Let's get inside. It's cold tonight," Brian watched Sal yawn. "And let's get you to bed. We'll cuddle and forget about tonight, okay?"

Sal nodded. "Okay..." He head back into the apartment, with Brian's arm around his shoulders.
