News that can change a lifetime

(Narrator's POV)
She had just arrived home from her beautiful sunset walk in the city.
When she came home her mom and dad were sitting at the dining table discussing something that brought anxiety and grief upon their faces, she couldn't comprehend what they had been discussing. After she reached the dining table and read her parents' faces, her face changed from ecstatic to grief and anxiety! She immediately froze, until her mother said "come here, Violetta, we have to talk to you." Quickly cutting off her mom, her dad had said "it's very important," with a worried look in his eyes. At this point, she was hesitant on whether she should go towards her anxiety filled parents, but if she didn't her parents would've been disappointed! So as the good child she is, she had courage to go and embrace herself for the worst!
