Chapter 10

At that moment few things happened simultaneously.

I saw 3 figures across the border. Two of them were dressed exactly like those intruders. So i guess they are the intruders. And the third person seemed like an old lady. I was not able to see their faces clearly due to the translucent border. I think one of them might have chuckled.

All of a sudden, I felt my neck being squeezed, very hard. A severe pain shot through my neck, my head started spinning. All I could see was starts.

All at once everything stopped. The world around became motionless. Everything became still as stone. Seemed like time has stopped.

No pitter-patter of raindrops were heard. Raindrops were still and floating in the air. Frogs stopped croaking. It felt like world has gone silent.

In a trice, I felt a stong jolt of energy passing through my body and instantly I felt calm. I felt warm and lighter as air. There was no query, no guilt, no fear in my mind. The world around looked very beautiful. It seemed like the world was giving me a warm smile. There was total peace of both mind and soul. I was content. I started admiring everything and my eyes went to my hands and then my legs. They were sparkling. No... Wait, actually I was sparkling and glowing; that too entirely yellow. My feets were not touching the ground. I was floating in the air.

And the most fascinating part is, I was at the same time on the ground too, held through neck by that monster.

I got confused, whether I m dead or alive?

And while I was thinking this, I felt a pull, like someone was calling me. So I looked back and there stood a women, she was an old lady, looking as an older version of me.

There was a very humble smile on her face. More warmth spread around. I could feel that warmth seeping inside me. I wanted to run to her, to hug her, to kiss her. She was looking at me with longing. I was about to run to her, but then 4 figures showed up. They were all sparkling like us. And other common characteristics among them was, they were all aged. They all gave me a warm smile and said , " Don't resist. "

And at that instance, I felt a strong pull from my body and was instantly sucked back.
