Here I am, like every other night in this cold room lying in my bed, with the moon as only partner. The same heavy atmosphere, that suffocates me. I run my hand though my h/c hair and sigh. Eyes closed I think back to what mother told me. The name of 'Hyakkaou Private Academy' keep ringing in my head.
According to what mother told me, this school has nothing to do with the others. It is not the quality of the teaching or the great infrastructure that makes Hyakkaou Private Academy reputation. Well at least that's not it most important feature. Gambling. That what make this school unique. Apparently, gambling, is the way this school run, the more you are good at risking your life in a game of Uno, the more you have notoriety. A rather original concept. But I must admit, that sounds pretty fun.
I giggled at my last thought, even though the idea of changing school don't really enchant me, there is high chance for me to have a lot of fun.

My day dreaming have been interrupted by knocks ringing on my door. The door opened delicately revealing the head of my mother. "Hey, sweetheart are you still not asleep ?" I'v looked at her as a response. As I see her walk towards my bed I moved to sit on the bed. My mother did the same on the edge of the bed. We are now looking at each other in the eye, our two pairs of eyes glowed by an intense e/c. Her right hand was now caressing my left cheek. "Don't forget what I've told you. And don't disappoint me, ok ?" My eyes was no longer locked with hers, as I murmured a little 'yes'. I couldn't feel the touch of her hand caressing my cheek anymore, surprised by the sudden lack of skin touch, I've slightly raised my head. Then her hand raised my chin up so that I look at her. "You know that I don't like it when people don't look at me in the eyes when I talk to them." I nod to let her know that I've understood what she said, shaking a little bit. She haven't moved at all still waiting for me to give her a proper response. "Yes mother, I won't disappoint you." She let go of my chin finally satisfied with my answer. She pulled me in her embrace caressing the back of my head. "Good girl. Now sleep you'll need a lot of energy for you first day in your new school" She then step out of the room letting me alone once again, with my own thoughts...
