Gone

Sylivia's POV

"You must stop this now. You'll destroy everything", my mom yelled. I can't do this anymore. They don't care. They don't accept me. Maybe someone else will.

-Earlier that day-

"You're a monster. I wish I never had you as a daughter", my mom yelled. I quickly ran to my room, locked the door, ran to my bed and cried. Why do they hate me so much? What did I ever do?

Here, maybe I should introduce myself. My name is Sylivia Ski. I am 16 years old and im a witch. I love singing and drawing. My family hates me. I don't know why though. I guess they hate that I have powers and they don't. They make me hide who I am. I don't have friends, I don't have anything. I'm not allowed to go out much at all really, just to school and then I have to come back home.

I can't stop crying and I don't know why. I go through this everyday really. you know what, Im done. I gotta get out of here, just escape. But how? "Sylvia, open this door right now", my dad yelled. I grabbed my backpack, put clothes in it, grabbed some granola bars I have hidden, grabbed my money I have saved up, went out the window and went down the tree. As soon as my feet hit the ground, I ran. I ran far, far, far away. I ended up in the woods. I hate the woods. It's so dark. Me and the dark don't get along.

I found myself in an open area so I got a fire started. I just sat here thinking. Why do the hate me so much? Is it because of my powers? I can't help it, I was born with them. I wonder if I could go to another universe, like another world. you know like, get away from everything. Go to a place where im accepted. "My dear lady", a voice said beside me. I jumped up and got ready to fight but I couldn't. "You want get away", it asked. I nodded yes. "Go to the keeper in the deepest parts of the woods and you will be able to get away", it said. Then it was silent. I turned around and saw nothing. who was that? The deepest part of the woods, I hear it is the most dangerous. I picked up my backpack and went on my way. I can't stay here anymore.

-3 hours later-

Right now the night dark sky have taken over the sky. Everything and everywhere was dark. The only light was shining was the moon, but with the amount of trees, you couldn't really see it. While walking, something moved. I turned around and saw nothing. I did a full 360 but saw nothing. I continued walking until I saw it. It was something like a shadow. All the sudden it was behind me.

 "If you want get away, you must go to the place, summon the portal and fly away", it said. I slowly turned around and saw a shadow. It was all black with bright blue eyes. "Are you the keeper", I asked. He nodded and gave me a scroll. I opened it up and saw it was a spell. "You are destined for more", it said. I looked at it very confused. "If you want to get away, you must go to the place, summon the portal and fly away", it repeated. and disappeared.

Go to what place? How do summon a portal? I started to walk back when it started raining. Great, just great. I continue to walk thinking about the place. Could it be the place I dread to leave? All the sudden, I took one step and I was back home but on the roof. What the..! "If you want to get away, you must go to the place, summon the portal and fly away", something said. The scroll came out my backpack and opened up.

"I summon thee

To come lift me

To break free

To save me", I said.

Purple, red, yellow, and pink sparks started to go around me.

"I summon thee

To lift me

To break free

To save me", I repeated. By now the sparks were going faster and I saw my mom. What is she doing up here?

"I summon thee

To lift me

To", I said not being able to finish. "You must stop this now. You'll destroy everything", she yelled. I looked around and saw everything breaking apart and going into the portal that was being formed. "Please baby, comeback home so we can be a family.  I love you baby.", she said coming towards me. It's so tempting. "You are destined for more", something said. "Come on baby", she said holding out her hand. No! I can't do this anymore. No one cares about me here. Maybe someone else will.

To break free" I attempted to say before my mom yelled "Noooooooo".

"To save me" I said. With that I was sucked into the portal going extremely fast. There was colorful flashes everywhere. All the sudden, I hit the ground, hitting my head and knocking me out.
