Rosie had just gathered materials for a campfire, and had received information and instructions from Tom Nook. She recognized him, as she had previously lived in a town that they were running. Rosie ended up having to move, and made her friend, Pecan, the town representative. Rosie didn't know what happened to her previous home, but that was just the past. Rosie shook herself out of her thoughts by a light tap to the shoulder. She turned to face a black pig with white spots around the eyes and a white streak on her snout. "Oh my god, Agnes is that you?" Rosie said happily. She and Agnes had been neighbors at one point. "Sure is, snuffle." Agnes responded with a smile on her face. Rosie gave her a hug, and turned to the other villager beside her. A tan and brown dog was doing some sort of workout with his drink. He noticed Rosie, and smiled at her. "Uhm, hello, I'm Rosie," Rosie said while watching the dog weight lift using his drink. "I'm Mac! Aren't you excited for this trip? I bet I can catch fish all day, woo woof!" Rosie nodded and silently laughed. He sounded like he was high on energy drinks.
After a while of talking, Rosie got tired and went to set up her tent. She went inside and put what furniture she did have down. She turned on radio and listened to an assortment of songs before drifting asleep.
(The next part is Rosie's dream)
It was dark. Rosie couldn't tell where she was. It looked like a forest, but something about it was nostalgic. Rosie got up and walked around the oddly familiar forest. A voice behind her made her turn her head. "You're back." The voice said. Rosie whipped around in the direction of the noise. A nearly identical version of her was standing in front of her. The only difference was that Rosie had grey eyes, and the clone had brown eyes. "Who are you?" Rosie questioned. The forest had begun to frighten her.
"You don't remember me? How could you forget?" The clone questioned,
"I have never seen you in my life."
"Have you never looked in a mirror?"
"What do you mean?"
"I am you."
The clone disappeared, and Rosie woke up.
