Waiter

The Waiter

We got home and I went right to my bedroom. I laid down and closed my eyes. I started seeing some boy in my dream. He looks familiar. He had brown/dark brown hair. When he smiled he had dimples. He walked up to me and started talking to me.

~Dreaming~

Crawford: Hi! You're really pretty!

Me: Thanks.

I woke up surprised. I turned my head around to the clock and it was 6 a.m. I should probably go to the Cafe and get Teresa a coffee. I got up and put my boots on. I grabbed the car keys and walked out the door. I got out and walked in. While I looked around I didn't see anybody there. I walked up to the cash register where a boy was standing there. " Your here to pick up for Teresa."he said. "Yeah how did you know?" I asked. "Well the last time you came I heard you say you were ordering for her." he said and chuckled. I waited there waiting for him. He looks familiar. He came back and handed me the coffee. "That will be $10.00." he said. I shoved me hand in my pocket to grab my wallet. I took it out and pulled out $9.00. "It's ok. I got a dollar on me." he said and took the money I had out of my hand. I took the coffee then left. I walked inside the door and put Teresa's coffee in the fridge. I walked back to my room and fell asleep.
I started opening my eyes a little and looked at the clock. It said 8:30. I got up and went to the kitchen. I saw Teresa sitting at the table drinking her coffee. "I see you got up and got me a coffee this morning." she looked at me and said."Yeah I got up at 6 and decided to go." I said and smiled. I walked over and poured me some cereal and milk. "Teresa I had this weird dream. About some boy and I think it was the waiter at the Cafe." I said. "Ohh noo!" she said. "Don't even try to get him." "What do you mean?"I said. "I know who your talking about. He's no good. That's all i'm gonna say." she said and walked away. I walked over to the couch sat down and watched T.V. "I should go to the Cafe to try coffee and then I can see how this boy is.." I got up and went out the door. I was in the parking lot. I got out of my car and walked in. I saw him standing there behind the cash register. I walked up in line. "Hi. Back for Teresa already?" he asked. I laughed "No. I'm here to try one for myself." "Oh so your getting into the coffee to." he said and laughed. "Yeah do you know any good ones?" "Yeah i'll give you my order that I get." I stood there waiting and he came back with a coffee in his hand."Here you go." he said."Thanks." I said. I walked out of the Cafe and went in my car. I drove home."I'm here Teresa." I said and shouted."I was wondering where you were! Where did you go?" she asked." I went to buy a coffee." I said."No! Did you just go there to see Crawford?!" Who?" The waiter Crawford who works there!" Oh him. Calm down. I don't like him and he doesn't like me." I said and walked to my room. I laid down and closed me eyes.

~4 hours later~ 2 pm.

I opened my eyes a little. Still things were a little blurry. I wiped my eyes until everything became clear. I looked at my clock to see what time it is. It was 2 and the sun was still up going down. I got up and changed my clothes. I put a pair of shorts on and a spaghetti strapped shirt on with my long black sandals. I put my hair into a ponytail. I walked out of my room and grabbed my phone off the table. I slipped it in my back pocket.I turned around and saw Teresa sleeping on the couch. I walked out the door as quiet as possible. I walked to the cafe and ordered "Crawford's Order" which I found out to be order #5 on the board. The cashier gave me my coffee and I handed her the money. I started walking to the park. My phone vibrated I took it out and looked at it. Teresa texted.

Teresa: Where are you?? Sheesh I fall asleep and your gone.

Me: I went to get another coffee and a walk in the park.

Teresa: You better not be meeting Crawford there.

I read the message and laughed while sipping on my coffee. I was about to text her back but then I bumped into someone. I dropped my coffee and my phone. I bent down to pick up my stuff. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry are you ok?" i looked up and it was Crawford smiling. I picked up my phone and my coffee and got up off my knees."Oh it's you. I'm not surprised." he said and smiled. I laughed. "What are you doing out here?" I asked."Well I like to come out here and walk around to see the sun." "Really?Me to. The sky is so beautiful when the sum is going down." I said and looked down."Walk with me?" he asked. "Sure." I answered. We walked along the concrete path. "So what's your name?" he asked. "Summer." I said. "That's a nice name." he said and smiled. "Thanks." I said. "So I see you got another coffee."Yeah I did haha it's really good!" I looked at him and laughed."Well your welcome then."For what?" I asked. "For helping you order your coffee." "Oh yeah well thank you." and we both laughed. We walked around talking. Soon I noticed it was dark. I took my phone out and noticed it was 8."Wow!" I said. "What?" Crawford asked." "Nothing big just didn't notice how the time flew by." I said. "Me either. I'd like to do this again Summer." he said smiling at me. I looked at him smiling and waved goodbye and started walking. 

~Home~

"Oh my god! Summer where were you? Didn't answer my texts and didn't even leave a note to say where you were going!!" Teresa started yelling at me. "Don't worry about it! I just went to get some coffee and a little walk in the park no big deal." I said walking to my room. Teresa followed me into the room "Yes it is a big deal. Now listen to me I knowing you I'm guessing you went to go see Crawford. You have to promise me you won't be anymore then a friend to him!"Ok sheesh I promise. Now do you mind getting out so I can change please." I said smiling looking at Teresa. Teresa walked away and sat on the couch. I laid down in my bed wondering about tomorrow and drifted off to sleep.
