Prologue
"Please breathe; don't close your eyes... BREATHE DAMMIT BREATHE!" Papa screamed. I began to go towards the light when something caught my attention; it was my mom wearing a beautiful white dress. I ran into her arms and gave her a hug. I pulled away and said "What are you doing here?" "My Sweet Blossom" mama replied,."the real question is what are you doing here?" "I stopped breathing mama and I died so i'm going to come with you; I missed you so much."
"Oh Sweet Blossom you didn't die, you're still alive." she said sweetly "but I can still stay with you right?" I ask with emotion in my voice. She knelt and grabbed my shoulders. "No i'm sorry you can't it's not your time yet." Those words hit me in the face bringing no mercy and I began to cry. "Oh no Sweet Blossom Flower don't cry, we'll see each other again." She wiped my tears and I looked up; "when?" "when the time is right."
"Will I know when the time is right?" I asked "yes Blossom you will, but when the time is right I will come to you." I Hugged her tight, "Oh mama, why did you have to go; I miss you so much." She returned the hug "because it was my time and I miss you too my Sweet Blossom Flower; more than the world." "Papa says you watch over us, is that true?" She smiles "Yes that is true I see every smile and every tear, every accomplishment, and every fall." "Do you approve?" I said as one tear escapes my eye. "I approve of anything that makes you and your papa happy." I squeeze in one more hug. "OK no more stalling it's time to go back."
"How?" I ask "well, just focus on your breathing." I go to say good-bye and but she stops me "No good-byes', just till next time."
I start to focus on my breathing and I begin to feel myself being pulled from mamas' presents. I suddenly feel the floor beneath me and I open my eyes and gasp for breath. Daddy pulls me in for a hug and tells me never to scare him like that again. He lets go, "Kilee, you have to be more careful?" He thinks I slipped on the floor, but what I don't tell him is that I didn't slip on the floor in fact I don't know what happened; first I was standing in the kitchen and then next thing I know I was talking to mama.
