dear peter,
i was just sitting in class, looking out the window to watch the snow. and then i saw a boy walking across the parking lot towards the doors to the school. and then, with a pang i realized it was you. probably just getting back from your college class. even though i know it was wrong, i stayed in front of the window, watching you walk through the snow until you were inside. among other things, the only thing i could think was, "that boy should be wearing a coat. it's snowing for god's sake". and then i began to wonder which car was yours, as i went back to doing my work.
i'm still bothered by the fact that you weren't wearing a coat. if you were mine, i'd make sure you wore a coat every day.
because then i would know i had a coat to borrow if i ever got cold.
love,
♡ wendy x
