George had been riding endlessly for days. According to his map he was nearly there. 'Well, at least I'll miss the coronation.' He tried to make like of the situation. George thought about it for a second. The wind in his hair, the perfect green grass, the fresh air, missing the coronation was the best part, George didn't want to be king, everything about this was perfect.

Well, minus the fact he was looking for his brother who thought it would be a good idea to visit the kingdom who pretty much, George was sure, hated them. What was he going to do? George was clueless.

George then got a flashback of him riding on a horse with his mother to...somewhere. He enjoyed that memory. It was the same but for some reason, in that memory the grass was an ugly shade of yellow and the world was stripped of color.

His horse came to a sudden stop which almost made George fly off the front. He came back into the world again, he didn't even realize he was spacing out. He looked out in front of him and saw a cliff and at the bottom...wait. There was no bottom! George took a deep breath, he hated heights, and this one was a never ending height.

'Well damn it, how is anyone supposed to get across?' He wondered. An image popped into his mind that made him want to scream. His brother never thought twice. What if he fell into the abyss? No, George wouldn't even let the thought cross his mind.

George calmed down, his brother was clever he would never fall. Maybe he crossed by...Oh my god there was a bridge to George's left. He could hear his brother's voice in his head saying George you're so blind you idiot. George face palmed him self and started to walk towards the bridge.

George made it across the bridge, after a lot of yelling at himself, soft curses, and deep breaths. When he made it across he got on his knees and kissed the grass.(George you're just supposed to touch it not kiss it. Jeez, what fanfic did you read you dirty boy.)

It was not he sturdiest bridge, or the safest. George was just grateful to be on solid ground again.

'Here we go,' George took a step forward and an odd feeling coursed through his body, like a ghost went through him.

George looked around. Before you walked over the bridge and into the barrier it just looked like another forest. But now he entered a place that was badly damaged. Like the place was in ruins. Broken pillars and old walls with vines surrounded him.'What happened here?' George wondered.

'Did something happen? Wait what is that?' It wasn't very bright in there but in the darkness George saw a figure coming towards him. As it got closer George began to panic.

Was this thing coming to hurt him? Did it know who he was. George was never much of a fighter and time was running out. The tall figure got closer and George did something he knew well.

Run.

George turned around and ran as fast as his legs could carry him. Of course, he didn't really make it that far.

"WAIT" the figure called out. George knew it was a male and his voice sounded...well um, he did not really know how to describe it. But you could bet he would not stop. He still ran. This bitch wasn't gonna catch George anytime soon. And why should he wait.

"WATCH OUT FOR THE BARRIER"

Oh ya...

George ran right into the barrier and felt a painful shock go through him. He was flung backwards and hit his head on a broken pillar and was knocked unconscious.

Ouch!
