The Science Experiment

Prologue

  My name is Lilly and I am fifteen years old. I live at home with my older sister Emma and my mother ever since our father died three years ago. I was about to leave for the store when there was a knock on the door. My mom went to answer it. I entered the room to see who it was.

  "Good morning ma'am. I am david and this is Drew. We are working on a new experiment and we were wondering if you would let your daughter be a part of it?" He asked.

  "What is this experiment?" She asked.

  "Well we think we have found out a way to speed up pregnancy and make it only last nine weeks instead of nine months. We are hoping that we can fer it down even lower than that." One of them said.

  "I'm sorry but you are not using my daughter for that. She is only nineteen. She is way to young to even be pregnant." My mom said. She tried to shut the door but they stopped her.

  "No we are not talking about that daughter we are talking about Lilly. She is only fifteen and she is the perfect candidate for it." They said. I quickly ran back into the kitchen where I found Emma.

  "Hey what is wrong?" She asked me when I ran into her arms.

  "The men at the door were asking mom to let me get pregnant." I told her crying. She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me.

  "Me and mom will never let that happen. We will protect you no matter what." She told me. I nodded into her arms and our mom walked into the room. She saw the two of us and came over to give us a hug.

  "I'm guessing you heard all of that Lilly." She said. I nodded and she hugged me tighter.

  "I will never let anything happen to either one of you girls. Now how about all of us go to the store instead of just Lilly." Our mom said. I nodded and Emma left the room to go get her shoes on. After she came back we left the house and mom made sure the door was locked. It was only a ten minute walk before we got to the store. We were halfway through shopping when I felt a hand go over my mouth while another arm wrapped around my body.

  "If you cooperate you will not get hurt." A raspy voice told me. I nodded and he let go of my mouth. I threw my head back against his collar bone and when his grip loosened I moved to elbow him in the groin. I started to run away when another pair of hands grabbed me. I started to tell as loud as I could but a hand went over my mouth. I started to feel dizzy and eventually everything went black.
