"Okay boys, now that we're all here, what should we do?" Zayn asked enthusiastically. We (Zayn, Niall, Liam, Harry and I) were all sitting on the floor around the coffee table of Zayn's living room after we had just returned from school.
"Truth or dare?" Niall suggested in his Irish accent. He was born in Ireland, but moved to England after his father found a great job here.
"Ah, a typical party game. Well, why the hell not?" Liam replied.
Harry and I simply nodded in agreement.
"Alright," Zayn declared. "Niall, you first."
"Hmm... Liam. Truth or dare?"
"Uh... truth!"
"Pussy. Anyway, is it true that you made out with an older woman?" He asked winking.
"Oh, you mean Danielle?" Liam said. He blushed a bit. "Um, yeah. But it's more than that. We're serious."
"I see. You're a lucky guy, Liam. Danielle is -"
"YOUR TURN, LIAM!" Zayn yelled.
Harry giggled. I couldn't help but sneak a glance at him; he was so cute when he was giggling, and that made me grin.
"I choose... you, Harry, since you decided to laugh. Truth or dare?"
"Give me a truth!"
How adorable he was.
"Is it true that you've never had a girlfriend?"
My eyes widened as I looked at Harry and waited for his answer.
"Y-Yeah, it's true..." he replied slowly.
The other three boys laughed.
"Leave him alone, guys!" I snapped, but I think Harry was the only one who heard me.
"Truth or dare?" Harry quickly asked, making eye contact with Zayn.
"Dare," Zayn spoke after recovering from his fit of laughter. He had a smug smirk on his face as if he felt better than the other boys for choosing 'dare' instead of 'truth'.
"I dare you to call and ask out Perrie Edwards from school."
"WHAT?" Zayn cried, the smirk vanishing from his lips.
"Zayn, you've been making heart eyes at Perrie for quite some time now."
"Harry's right, dude," Niall said.
"Yeah, man! And you have nothing to lose. Are you just scared that she'll say no?" Liam teased.
"Err... of course not! I'll dial her number right now." And he did.
She answered.
"Perrie? It's Zayn. I wanted to ask you something... will you be my girlfriend? Wait, did you say yes?"
Harry smiled, proud of himself.
"I love you," Zayn whispered into the phone before hanging up."
The other guys and I cheered for him. Zayn looked embarrassed, I could tell from the redness of his cheeks, but he was smiling.
"Truth or dare, Louis Tomlinson?"
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Harry blush a bit. Or was I just imagining that?
"Louis Tomlinson?" Zayn repeated.
"Oops. Dare, I guess," I rushed to reply.
Zayn grinned evilly. "I dare you to kiss Harry."
My jaw dropped, and so did the other boys', excluding Harry's. He didn't really react, and I wondered why. Did he want me to kiss him? No, that's insane. He doesn't feel the same way. He's probably straight anyway... Right?
"Dude! That's wrong," Niall spat.
Liam remained quiet, but I could tell from the expression on his face that he agreed.
I glared at both boys, but only for a second. I didn't want anyone to see how angry they made me. I mentally told myself to calm down.
"I'll do it," I said, my voice gravelly.
Harry looked over at me, surprise in his eyes, but no trace of disgust... and so, I grabbed his beautiful pale face in both of my hands, staring passionately into his gorgeous green orbs and slowly moved forward until our lips were touching. I then closed my blue eyes and lost myself in the most amazing feeling I've ever felt at all.
Harry's lips were soft and warm; comforting, oh so comforting. We were only kissing for a couple of seconds, but those lips were like antidepressants. They took away my pain, and I wished that I could kiss them forever. They would be the only medicine I needed.
Of course, although the closed-mouth kiss was great, I craved more. I was selfish, and more than anything, I had a desire to gently nibble and suck on Harry's plump bottom lip. I wanted our tongues to intertwine and I wanted to taste his sweet saliva.
Knowing that I couldn't do any of those things gave me a heartache. I quickly pulled away from Harry, dropping my hands from his face and shoving them in my pockets.
I glanced then over at him to see his expression... Is it just me or does he look... sad? Sad that I pulled away? Fuck, Lou, don't be ridiculous. I wanted to slap myself for thinking that; it truly was stupid of me.
