Tall, Thin Brunette Girl

It's been two days since the best day of my life; the day that I kissed Harry.
It was now Sunday night. I had spent my entire day watching television, which was the same exact thing that I did yesterday.
Liam invited me to to his house for a party last night, but I had declined, saying that I didn't feel well. No, I wasn't lying. I wasn't sick, but I had been feeling sad because Harry had been ignoring my texts. I had contemplated calling him, but that would come off as needy, wouldn't it?
I sighed to myself, rolling over in bed and pulling the covers over my head. I decided to confront him tomorrow at school and see what was up.

Harry was two grades below me, so I didn't get the chance to talk to him until his lunch period, aka my study hall. My study hall advisor didn't mind though; he was a lazy old man who really didn't care about anything.
I walked into the cafeteria and scanned the room for a familiar head of curls. He was sitting at the back of the caf with a tall, thin brunette girl. My heart sank to my feet as I watched them chat and laugh together.
I quickly spun around on my heels and ran away from the lunchroom, hurrying into the lavatory instead and locked myself in a stall. Was that Harry's girlfriend? I felt sick to my stomach; they looked so happy together. I sat down on the toilet, bringing my knees up to my chin and slamming my head against the wall. "I can't believe I thought..." my voice trailed off as I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Louis? Is that you?" I heard a voice say from the stall next to me. It was Zayn.
I gasped. "Uh..." I hesitated. I couldn't lie to Zayn, and after all he could probably already tell that it was indeed me, so I told the truth. "...yeah. It's Lou."
"Are you okay?" Another voice spoke. It sounded like Liam, but it was coming from the same stall as Zayn's.
"Who is this?" I replied.
"Liam," he said. Then, "Shit."
"Are you in the same stall as Zayn?"
"What? That's disgusting, man," Zayn answered for him, but his voice was squeeky and his words came out rushed.
"Yeah! Disgusting!" Liam said; he as well sounded nervous.
"O...kay... um, anyway, I'm fine." I sat up and stood. This situation was making me uncomfortable. "I'm going back to study hall."
As I unlocked the stall door, the bell sounded, signaling the end of the period. Since my study hall was the last period of the day, that meant school was over. I dashed out of the restroom and to my locker to collect my backpack. Then I walked out the front door of the building and to my car. I unlocked it, sat down, and put my key in the ignition. After the car came to life, I put my hands on the wheel, my foot on the gas, and slowly started backing out of the parking space.
Suddenly, someone screamed, "Louis!"
I recognized the voice as Harry's, immediately slamming on the brakes. My eyes darted to the rear-view mirror; he was standing behind my car, waving at me.
I rolled my window down and stuck my head out.
"What the hell, Harry? I thought I had hit you or something!"
He dashed over to me, his curls bouncing as he did so.
"Sorry..." he said quickly, not making eye contact with me. Was he still acting weirdly because of our kiss? Oh well, I guess. At least he was talking to me now, and not avoiding me like he had been doing over the weekend.
"Whatever, I'm just glad that I didn't." I spoke, clenching my jaw. Talking to him felt awkward; not only because he wouldn't look at me, but also because of what I had witnessed in the cafeteria.
"Er, could you give me a ride?" Harry asked, and I could tell he felt strange asking the question, even though I used to give him rides home all the time.
Him acting this way hurt me, so I snapped, "Why don't you ask one of your attractive female friends for a ride, Haz?"
My voice was bitter, but his was soft as he replied, "Why would I do that when I could ask one of my attractive male friends instead?"
Usually, hearing him say that would make my heart flutter, and seeing his blush afterwards would make my heart do jumping jacks.
But I was jealous and angry, so I reacted by rolling my eyes and muttering, "Just get in the backseat."
"I can't sit by you, Lou?" His voice was a whisper.
"No." My voice was a hiss.
