Part 3
Only one week was left for your exam and you were not even sure how to do it. So you decided to watch Mingi how he study and tried to follow his way of studying.
You went to his room and he was not even there. "Where he could go? Well nice, I should check his notes." you started going through his copies and books.
You were so shocked to see that he barely had anything marked. "His book and copies look new as hell. Does he even study? Wait. Then how the fucking hell he gets marks so high? Highest of the class? Wow, you got to be kidding Mingi." you were going back to your room when he came out of his shower and push you to the wall.
"Don't enter my room without my permission," he smirked.
"Sorry I won't," you said and tried to escape when he holds onto your arm and get closer to you. You were red as hell. As he was shirtless and droplets of waters were coming down from his shoulders. Looks like he didn't dry himself with the towel properly :)
"Isn't the mood too romantic to be? You and me. What do you say?" he smirks
"I- I-ii, let me go." you pushed him and came out of his room."
"Look that idiot thought I would do that to her." he smiled at your lunacy.
You ran towards your room, your heart was beating so fast. You barely could move. You were trembling. It was so sudden. And his words definitely made you flicker.
"Shit I could have asked him about his timetable." you got angry at yourself.
"Y/n did you just came to my room to go through my notes? So you were planning on rote memorization without understanding it?" he came to your room out of know where and asked you questions.
"I only have one week left. What do you want me to do now?" you answered.
"So you are giving up already? Can't you stay at your words? You are just making a loser out of yourself." he said.
"I don't even know what I don't know. It's so annoying. I am a loser." you were sad.
"You still have the last chance utilise it. One week? 7 days? And 3 subjects. You can still do it. Don't come to me for following my time table. Start with the basics. Make your own. The following mine will give you nothing because it is meant for me and my understanding. He sat down and continued again.
We have different brains and IQ. Your understanding of things is different from mine. If you don't understand the thing, go to the teacher. They will help. Stop starting things from knowhere. Start with basics. And belive in yourself. If you give up then you are just a loser. Don't you hate losing? You are the one who will decide your future. Teachers are just temporary people who come and go. Try to take the advantage of the knowledge and work on yourself. This will be my guide for you." he said and left you.
You started questioning yourself. You knew how true the words he said were. Each word was effective. He lights up the fire in you. His words were so powerful.
From that day onwards you started from the basics. If you didn't understand a thing, you noted it down and kept it for tomorrow so that you can ask the teacher. The teacher was shocked by your sudden change.
Suddenly studying was fun for you. You couldn't believe that a person who would hate studying was obsessed with it. You had to prove him wrong. And you were full of power.
Exam day
"I have taken my pens, water bottles etc. Okay, I am prepared." you said to yourself and headed to school.
You stopped going to school with Mingi as you now know the neighbourhood nicely but sometimes coming back home in the evening was a little scary for you but still, you didn't want to bother him so you used to go back home alone.
For your information:
You didn't know that while going back home from school a person was always behind you. Mingi. He was scared that something might happen to you so without you knowing he followed you.
You were finally in the exam hall. You were a little nervous not until you saw Mingi passing by a note in his hand saying BEST OF LUCK. He looked at you and smiled and so did you.
You were boosted with energy. The exam started. And you started writing.
Finally, the exam was over. Everyone was like "the exam was so tough" You were scared by their reaction but you were sure of your answers.
The result day.
You trembling as you were nervous. Mingi went to see the result on the notice board. You were staring at him. Trying to figure out your result by his facial expressions. He was expressionless. You thought that you might have done bad. (but you didn't know that he always had that cold stare. It was nothing new. But you failed to figure it out)
He walked towards you. And was about to say something when "Y/n have you seen your result?" Han came running towards you and asked.
"No, but I guess it was bad," you said.
"What are you saying?" he told you to check the board.
"No way. I am in the 5p position? I did it!!" you shouted.
You run towards Mingi who was smiling and hugged him. "Thank you!" you said.
"You don't have to thank me. You should be thankful to yourself. Don't give up on yourself. You have the potential to do better. And I guess you figured it out that by yourself. You didn't prove to me but you did to yourself. You discovered the person you are!" he said.
This words. You needed it. You were shocked to think that he hated you when he just wanted you to figure out the truth. There are no words as impossible. If you try your best you can do it!
"So friends?" you passed your hand out.
"Friends." he took it.
