chapter 1

It had been years since that incident.  Since y/n had started to train to get stronger. Y/n had since grown distant from her parents. They had too, they always seemed to be busy, always had something to do when she wanted to spend time, and eventually, y/n had stopped trying to make a connection, or any bonds with her parents. 

y/n went to a decent school, she had average grades, she did her homework, payed attention in class, but it was never enough to her parents. They always wanted more out of y/n. Eventually y/n just stopped trying to please her parents. They would yell and scream at her for it. 

" why aren't you trying?"

" stop being useless!"

" god, can you at least try to do something right?"

" its not enough."

" train harder." 

" don't be weak."

Weak. oh how much y/n hated that word. Her face twisted into a scowl at the thought. y/n was  walking down the side walk, the  cold wind blowing through her h/c h/l hair. y/n held her f/c tail in her clawed hands, soothingly petting the soft fluffy fur attempting to calm herself down.

She found herself among a crowed, bumping into people, getting tangled up and pushed against the crowded area.

' why does today have to be so shitty?! 

y/n whined in her head, comical tears running down her face as she sulked. 

" is that a villain?!" Apon hearing the terrified screech, y/n's ears perked up and looked around, her e/c eyes eventually falling onto a clearing. Laud explosions could be heard, fire surrounded the scene. 

A large mass of a  green sludge held some one captive, the explosions emitting from the person seemed to annoy the sludge villain because it made an effort to start to suffocate the boy. The person started to thrash around, their eyes glancing around in a panic.

Red orbs clashed with e/c. y/n's eyes widened in recognition. Those red eyes, the spiky blonde hair, the explosions and the murderous glare?! There was no doubt this was the asshole from all those years ago.

The girl managed to push her way through the crowd of horror-struck people. She was now standing next to a green haired boy, his hair was a mess, his whole body trembled at the scene. y/n also recognized the boy. 

' wtf, broccoli boy?'  y/n was taken aback when the greenette rushed forward, completely leaving y/n in the dust.

' WHAT THE HELL IS THIS VEGETABLE THINKING?!' 

y/n rushed after the boy, ignoring the heroes that called after them. 

' wtf when did they get here-'

The sludge villain's eyes were now focused on the two, his eyes shifted to the green haired boy. "DAMN, not this brat again!" 

The boy seemed to be in thought before he yanked of his bag and threw it up at the sludge villains eye, the villain winced, and loosed his grip on the blonde boy, but only enough that he could now breathe properly. His red orbs glared at the boy. 

" DAMN DEKU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" 

" i-i don't know! my legs just started moving!"

y/n sweat-dropped at the greenette who was now trying to claw his way to the angry blonde. 

' deku? is that some kind of nickname?' 

y/n bent down and jumped up onto the villain, her padded hands making it easier to climb up to the villains face. The sludge villain growled and tried to grab onto the girl as she moved up to his eyes. 

y/n then scratched the villains eye, he hissed and thrashed around violently, trying to throw y/n off, but to no avail, she continued to scratch at the villain. The villain raised a slimy hand at the greenette on the ground. " I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!" 

The pro heroes rushed forward and tried to save the boy, but to their horror, the villain brought his hand down. Smoke clouded y/n's vision as she was suddenly thrown off by the villain, she flipped in the air and landed on all fours, her claws digging into the ground, trying to stop herself from colliding into anything. 

" i really am pathetic.."

huh?!   y/n snapped her eyes opened, looking for the source of the new voice.

The smoke cleared and y/n's eyes darted to the greenette, relived to see he was okay. She then noticed he was staring at something, eyes wide and mouth open. y/n followed his line of vision. 

All might was holding up the sludge villains hand, smoke rolling off of him. " i told you the traits to make a great champion..." All might broke his arm out of the sludge villains grasp, some sludge flinging off to the side.

"But i see how i wasn't living up to my own!" He grasped the spiky blondes arm.

" people who are always risking their lives...." all might reeled his arm back. " that.. THAT IS THE REAL TRAIT OF A HERO!!" All might punched the sludge villain, the whiplash from the punch sending y/n stumbling back, eyes wide as she stared at the hero. 

'holy mother of fucking fuck...'  

No body moved. everything was silent, the only noise that could be heard was all might's heavy breathes. even the pro heroes seemed shocked. 

Suddenly something wet fell on y/n's face, and another.  y/n looked up, and surely enough, clouds covered the sky, and rain began to fall.

 " i- its raining...?" Someone from the crowd spoke up. 

y/n stared at the man." Well no shit Sherlock.." her voice was barely over a whisper. More rain began to pour on y/n, to witch she hissed at. Holding her hands over her had to try and stop the water from reaching her. But as expected, it did not work.  She frowned. Her y/n tail wrapping around her leg, hiding it from the rain.

Everybody continued to gush about how all might had changed the weather, and how heroic he was, blah blah blah.

y/n just stared at the sky with a frown, she had to admit it was nice, but she wished she wasnt being rained on. Once again, comical tears ran down her face as she began to sulk once more, muttering curses at the sky, and all might for changing the weather.

the police began to collect the sludge villain, taking him, were y/n assumed to be prison or something like that. the people began to take pictures of all might, gushing over him. y/n sweat-dropped at the scene.  y/n looked over to were the 'deku' was.

" you idiot! do you have a death wish?!" 

why yes sir, yes i do.

the heroes began to scold the boy while the angry blonde got praised. y/n laughed, finding the whole scenario funny. 

" hey!" 

y/n's laughing came to a stop. 

" Did you think we would just forget about you?!" great, now y/n was the one being scolded. y/n fell to her knees, sulking as the heroes began to scold her too.  y/n suddenly felt someone staring at her, looking around she met the harsh gaze of the spiky blonde. y/n tilted her head, f/c ears twitching slightly, her fluffy tail swaying gently.

okay this is awkward. y/n thought boredly before looking away from the blonde, her eyes falling on the greenette, who was still being scolded. She smirked, her cat like eyes taking in the scene. eventually, the heroes had left them to probably do some hero stuff, y/n could honestly care less. she stood up, walking to were the green haired boy. her slightly damp h/c locks swaying with every step she took. 

The boy suddenly turned around, green eyes meeting the cat like e/c ones. y/n waved a hand lazily before stuffing her hands in her pockets. " hey, my names y/n." the boy seemed startled, suddenly stumbling over his words, his face bursting into shades of red. "uhh- hi? my names izuku midoryai!" Midoryia finally said, reaching his hand out for y/n to shake. 

she reached out and shook his hand and smiled, her fangs showing slightly. " nice to meet you, Midoryia."
