Scene One: Betty And Jughead in his trailer 2x12 - Betty POV

"Maybe we can ask Veronica on Monday." I offer. Here we are sitting on jughead's couch just like old times. I miss him. "Yeah. Or maybe we should just investigate quietly until we know more." Jughead says. "We haven't saved the trailer park yet. And I'm on probation from the Serpents, whatever that means. Because of what I did to Penny." I look down at my feet, feeling a longing for him. "But we stopped her from coming back. And we got rid of Tall Boy." He says. "We. It's nice to hear that again." I say. I've missed hearing him say we. I still love him. "Look, I'll be apologizing for it for the rest of my life, but I'm sorry. I am. Feeling like I needed to shield you from what I was going through with the Serpents or my darkness." He says looking at me with his deep blue eyes. I see right through them. He doesn't realize that I have a darkness too. Maybe even more than him. I don't know where it came from but I do know one thing in this crazy town that's for sure. Jughead Jones is my soulmate. I wish I could tell him that but all I can manage to say is, "I can handle it." He looks at me again, this time with a softer expression. "I know you can." We both turn back to facing the opposite wall. It feels like time stopped. I know that my crazy mother is going to yell at me for being late when I get home. I don't want to leave but I know I should. "Well I should probably start heading home." I say, not wanting to get up. "Or you could stay." Says jug. "Stay." He places his hand on my thigh. It feels like a swarm of butterflies flew out of his fingertips, through my leg, to my stomach. We look at each other and don't even have to talk. I climb onto his lap and we start kissing. I know I have to tell him about the Archie kiss before we go any further. "Wait wait wait." I say through my heavy breathing. He continues kissing me as I say that. He looks up at me with those gorgeous eyes and I don't want to ruin the moment. I want him. I need him. "What?" He says looking somewhat concerned. "Nothing. I just want you. All of you." We continue kissing as he unzips my dress. He picks me up and carries me to his room. He puts me on the bed and closes the door.
