(First Person PoV Len)
I was still thinking about (Y/N), and how weird Miku and Kaito were acting. Kaito hasn't left the room yet. We made eye contact, and he flinched. That confirmed to me that the two were planning something. There was only one thing to do.

"Kaito, what are you and Miku up to?" I asked. I frowned at the sound of my own voice. I hate it. I hate this curse. It's the worst.

"Well, you were being really depressed lately, like more than normal, so Miku and I thought a guest would cheer you up," Kaito turned away, "at least one last time before you die of old age at like twenty or something." That last comment annoyed me so I threw my cane at him. He looked at me again, and didn't dodge the cane, and he got hit in the head. "Ow! What was that for!" He's lucky he's such a hard head, anyone else would have been killed. I was really hoping he'd dodge it though.

"Bring it back."

"Sure gramps'," Kaito said as he bent down and picked it up, and then came over and handed it to me. What he had said annoyed me again, so I hit him in the super plexus and sent him to his knees.

It was then that Miku came back from showing (Y/N) (his/her/their) room. She came to the front of the couch to see Kaito curled up on the floor. She started to ask, then realized that it was because I over reacted to him annoying me.

"Stop annoying him Kaito," she said bending down to where Kaito was curled up. "He's gonna accidentally kill you, ya know."

"Leave me alone," he was barely able to get out. He still hasn't caught his breath. Weak.

"Miku, take me back to my room." I wanted it too look like I was ignoring the pathetic mess that is Kaito.

"Master, are you sure that's what you want?" Miku asked as she approached me to help me up. "There are still some flowers in the garden. Wouldn't you like to see them?"

"No. I told you exactly what I want Miku."

"You don't wanna read? Or play a video game? Or-"

"Just take me back to my room so I can mope in peace!"

"At least he knows he's mopy," Kaito said sitting up.

"Kaito, just don't say anything, you'll get something thrown at you again!" Miku almost yelled at him as she helped me up.

"He's better off getting what he deserves." Miku snacked me in the back of the head. It normally doesn't hurt much when she does that, but this time she, likely accidentally, hit the base of my ponytail, and the hair tie caused it to hurt more. "Ngh! Don't do that."

"Just doing to you what you do to him on a much smaller scale Master Len."

"W-why'd you say it like tha-" I was cut off by my own coughing. That was the thing, the one thing, that the deity didn't tell me the cough I had after escaping the house full of that toxic gas would stay with me. It only seems to come back if I'm too excited. I normally fall when it starts, but I was being supported by both Miku and Kaito.

"Master, can you take this?" It was Miku's voice. I tried to answer, thinking that of course it was a cough drop, but I was stopped by more coughing.

"Does it look like he can take it? He can't even stand! Or open his eyes! Or speak."

"Kaito!" That voice, it was Meiko's. "Stop what you're doing you're making it worse!"

"Mommy!" With all the ways Kaito is annoying, the fact that he still calls his mom that is cute. What's less cute is the fact he almost dropped me.

At least I didn't have to worry long, because soon Kaito's long and awkward hands were replace by Meiko's firm yet gentle ones. I tried to speak, but I couldn't get anything out again. This coughing is awful.

"Kaito, go get Dr. Kamui," Meiko instructed.

"Yes Mommy!"

I coughed hard again.

"Miku, we need to sit Len down and keep his head up."

"Yes Meiko."

The two women sat me back down on the couch, as I kept coughing.

"It's important to try to maximize his breathing." Meiko was holding up my head, and I felt Miku's dainty hands on my own, which were on my legs.

I heard more talking, but I couldn't make out. I'm losing consciousness. I felt a gentle massaging on my neck. They were still trying. Sadly it didn't work. I lost consciousness and someone called out "Len!"

I don't know how long I've been out, but I'm coming back in. I felt a thing on my face. Everything is blurry. I immediately started trying to take off the thing on my face. I heard speaking, but I couldn't understand, I can't hear that well. I saw purple. I know who it is. I don't like him.

He kept trying to talk to me. My senses are getting clearer again. I could make out the shape of his hair around his face, and that he had put a hand on the thing on my face to keep me from taking it off. I start trying to push him away.

"... Stable..." I don't know what he's saying. It sounds urgent. "Stop fighting I need to know you're stable." I can hear clearly and make out the main details of his face, like his unfortunately blue eyes.

I am finally able to push him off of my face, and I then look at Meiko.

"H-how long?" Great, now my voice is course on top of being old.

"Two hours," she spoke calmly and gently, "you were getting critical. Dr. Kamui put you on oxygen, and did work to get you to breath again. The coughing fits keep getting worse and worse. You might die before we find a solution."

"I ended up like this because I didn't die. The solution is for me to die."

I sat up and Meiko came close and gave me a hug. She's very motherly, and her presence is quite comforting.

Nobody in that room realized it at the time but, we were being watched. When I was alone in my room again I realized it. I didn't want to get myself worked up again, so I relaxed while hugging one of the pillows Rin used to use. I think I fell asleep like that, as the next thing I knew it was dinner time.
