#07 Pillow Fight!

(I kind of rewrite this whole chapter.)

Y/N POV

As I bit into my Yakitori, there was a sudden burst through the door. We all turned our head in surprise.

"Boruto, your back! Y/n came here to check on your earlier." said Hinata

"Really? Hey Y/n, sorry I wasnt here, I had a few things to take care of."

"It's alright, we can hang out tomorrow anyways."

"Well come sit down and eat. I made some Yakitori." Hinata offered her son.

"No thanks mom, I grabbed a Thunder Burger on the way home, sorry." He apologized.

Hinata sighed, "Well it's alright. You couldn't have known."

"Hey Boruto, when we're done eating, you down for a game out Shinobi Bout? I'm in desperate need of some competition!" I snickered as Kawaki glared at me.

"Heck yeah! Get ready to lose suckers!" He said with a smile on his face.

"There is no way I am lossing every single time!" Kawaki complained.

"Psh, Kawaki just admit you suck!" Boruto teased.

I laughed, "Exactly! How do you manage to lose every single time?"

"Hm!" Kawaki grunted.

"Alright, lets start a new game!" I said as I reached to shuffle the deck.

I assume Kawaki had the same idea as we both reached out for the deck, accidentally brushing hands.

"Um, sorry." Kawaki apologized as he quickly pulled back his hand.

"Haha it's fine.." Faint blush appearing on my face.

Boruto seemed to notice this. "Y/n, don't tell me you have the hots for Kawaki! He's basically my brother!"

"What?!" Kawaki and I shouted in unison.

"Boruto what the heck! Don't say things like that!" I playfully pushed him off the bed.

"Ouch! Okay okay, but you dont have to freaking push me off the bed!" He said while rubbing the arm he landed on.

"Nah I think he needs more than a push!" Kawaki the grabbed one of the pillows behind him and hit Boruto in the head with it.

"What the heck! Oh, this means war!" Boruto then proceeded to grab a pillow, and instinctively, I did too.

Boruto wacked Kawaki, causing him to flinch. I then pulled my pillow up into the air and hit Boruto in the side.

"Ah! Kawaki, I thought we were on the same team!" I pleaded as Kawaki attacked me with a pillow.

"It's everyone for themselves around here-" Boruto cut him off with a pillow to his face.

"What was that about having your attention else where, Kawaki?" Boruto smirked.

After that we all bursted out laughing. "Lets team up next time Boruto, Kawaki won't stand a chance!"

"Nah, team with me Boruto, we can take this weakling down reall quick." Kawaki smirked as I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Hey, you haven't seen any of my skills yet, stop judging!"

"I dont need to, to know that you suck!" Kawaki teased.

Boruto decided to butt in, "Yeah, besides we all know I'm the strongest!"

Both Kawaki and I stared at Boruto with a blank face.

"Yeah...no... sorry Boruto, your just not on our level..." I said knowing well that it was a lie, I mean, the kid got close enough to take out my Dad's eye!

"What?! Did you just forget I have my Karma?" He rolled his eyes.

"I don't know much about this, but don't make me bring up the chunin exams." Kawaki warned as I bursted out laughing.

"Y/n, you told him about that?!!!"

"Whoops"

"That was a ONE time thing, okay, I would never cheat again!"

"Psh, yeah keep lying to yourself" Boruto playfully rolled his eyes at us as Kawaki and I laughed with each other. Man, how I wish things could have stayed like this forever.
