Regina
"Robin, look at me... All these bruises. We can't get married."
"Regina," he looked at me with knowing eyes "it doesn't matter what you look like, it only matters that I love you. And we're getting married. Besides, you'll probably get some more ok our honeymoon." He said with a smirk.
"Oh Robin," I say pulling him in for a kiss. "I need go get ready." I already had my dress in hand "I love you."
"I love you too." Robin said as I walked off. "Forgetting something?" He asks after a moment.
I throw myself into him, look into his eyes and kiss him hard on the mouth.
"Good enough for you?" I tease
"Better." He responds, giving my ass a squeeze.
As I drive to the house i breathe in the air coming from my window.
My Happily Ever After is here dad. We did it. I think aloud.
I pull into the driveway, and see Killian outside waving. I toss him my keys so he can get ready with Robin.
"Emma, it's here!" I say
"Oh Regina!" She pulls me in for a hug
"Ready?"
"That's what you're here for. Want me to do your hair first?" She offers.
"Why not?" I say.
We talk about our fiancées, describing the things we love about them. For Emma, his hook turns her on. For me, his thighs get my train off the track. I want to kiss him every time I see him, but if I do see him I usually already am.
"All done." Emma says looking at me proudly looking at my reflection.
I look at myself. My hair looks so simply done, yet elegant an time consuming. Swirls of hair hang around my face, with parts pulled back into neat braids.
"Your turn Emma." I say smiling.
When I'm done I'm proud. I can see her eyes, filling with tears.
"Oh, Regina."
Emma
Thoughts of Neal eat at my brain. I miss him so badly, I need him now. Sadly, I'd rather have him comfort me. I love Killian but he was my first. Was it strange that the baby I made by him would be fathered by his part time caregiver? Or that Killian would be brothers with the child named after him? What would our first child be named? I fill up with panic and then relief. I look just like my mother, from the wanted posters. Still elegant and beautiful, yet young and adventurous.
"It looks just like hers..." I say
"I know. Okay, makeup."
We start to do her makeup as I flush Neal out of my system. Our love. And she tells me about Daniel, and we realize that we aren't unlucky to have lost them (even though we were) but lucky for a second chance. Together.
Next came our dresses, mine a lacy simple dress, and Regina's was well... Befitting a queen.
"Ready?" She asks
"I think so."
