chapter 3

Amelia pov

After the dinner Luca went to vince office and Matteo decide to watch a movie.

I sat between gabby and coper. "which movie?" Matteo asked

"horror" Luca replied coming into the room.

"We have a kid here" gabby said

"Oh, gabby. I'm not a kid" I replied sighing.

"You are 9 Ame" coper said

"Exactly, you are 9" gabby said

"Oh, gabby. Don't act like an old lady" I said and everyone started laughing.

"Fine, let's watch horror. But If you get scared at night don't come to me crying" he said

Half way through the movie and I was scared like hell. I was hiding my face into gabby's chest. "Gaby, I'm scared" I said with tears in the eyes

"Aren't you a big girl" Matteo said teasing

Gabby looked at me and shook his head and picked me up in his arms "let's get you to bed baby" he said

"Pause the movie Matteo, I'll be back" gabby said and everyone sighed. Vince came back into the room.

"I'll get her to bed Gabriel" he said and took me from gabby's arms.
I put my head on vince shoulder.

He started walking upstairs "Vince, why are you so grumpy?" I asked

"what do you mean by grumpy?" he asked back.

"Anyways, nevermind" I replied

"Do you know that snow-white have 7 dwarfs?" I asked

"yes, I know" he replied

"Do you know that Cinderella lost her shoes?" I asked

"yes Amelia, I know" he replied again

"so, do you know that Beauty had a big library?" I asked

"Yes Amelia, I know. Now stop asking me these questions. And go to sleep" he said sternly.

"Grumpy" I mumbled

"what did you say?" he asked

"nothing" I replied

We entered my room and he laid me on the bed and tucked me .he was about to leave when I caught his wrist.

"I'm scared alone" I said with tears.

"You don't have to cry Amelia, I'll be here until you sleep okay?" he said

He laid on the bed and I snuggled into his chest and he was so comfy.

"Good night vinny" I said smiling

"Good night Ame" he replied and kissed on my head..

I drifted to sleep.

'Mommy?"

"mommy?"

"Mommy?"

"Where are you?" I screamed in the house searching for her.

"Are you playing hide and seek with me? , I'm scared mommy"

I started crying in search of mommy but she was not coming in front of me. Where did she go?

"Your mommy left you" An unknown voice said

I turned around to look a man with Pale face and dark brown hairs.

"Where's mommy?" I asked him with tears rolling down my eyes.

"She left you" he said

"Why did she left me?" I asked

"Because she hates you" he said

"She loves me" I argued

"No, she hates you and she left You" he said and started laughing.

"Mommy don't hate me" I screamed at him and he slapped me.

I screamed her name several times and but she didn't came. The man slowly made his way towards me and choked me. I tried pushing him away but he didnt budge. I tried and tried.

My eyes shot open with tears streaming down my face and I looked around to be in an unfamiliar room.

Then it clicked I was with my brothers. I want mommy. I can't sleep without her.

I slowly got out of bed with my teddy bear to search for someone. It was dark outside my room.

I knocked on the closet door. I didn't knew who's room was it but I continuously knocked but no one answered.

I went and tried on the second room to but again no one responded. I was scared.

Did my brothers leave me to?

They also hate me?

Mommy hates me? They hates me?

Am I a bad girl?

I started crying loudly until someone came running. It was my brothers.

I saw them and ran toward gabby as he picked me up in his arms. He started patting my back and tried to calm me down.

"Why are you crying baby?" he asked

"Ga-b-by" I said crying

"shhh baby. I'm here don't cry" he said

"I was sc-ar-ed" I said

"Is it because of the ghost?" Luca asked me softly

I shook my head as 'NO'

"Then?" Matteo asked

"Am I a bad girl?" I asked looking directly into gabby eyes

"No baby, you are not a bad girl" he said

"Then why did you leave me?" I asked

"We didn't leave you baby" coper said

"I was knocking on your room why didn't you came outside? I was so scared" I said

"Baby, we are watching the movie in movie room" gabby said

"Then why mommy left me? She don't love me anymore?" I asked

"Come here Ame" Vinny said opening his arms

Gabby passed me into his arms "You are Not a bad girl Ame and no one hates You." he said

"Then why she left?" I asked with tears in eyes.

"Do you like unicorns Ame?" he asked

"Yes, and mommy likes them to" I said

"Exactly!  She went to see unicorns Ame" Vinny said

"Why didn't she take me?" I asked

"Don't you want to stay with your brothers?" Matteo asked

"I want to!"I said

"That's the reason she didn't take you" Luca said

Ohh, she wanted me to stay with them that why she didn't take me.
Now I know mommy don't hate me nor my brothers.

"Now, let's get you sleep" gabby said taking me from Vinny's arms.

I put  my head onto his shoulder "Tell them goodnight" he said

"Good night Vinny, Matteo, coper and Luca" I said yawning.

"Good night" they all said and me and gabby went to his room.
