Chapter 5

(Kacie's P.O.V)

My eyes shot open to the sound of my bedroom door creaking open. I sat up and saw a empty room. " what the hell", I say getting out of bed. I walked over to the door and pushed it open. I looked around the living room and saw no one, "hmm weird" I say closing the door back and grabbing some clothes. I walked to the bathroom, The cabin was very quiet, it was kinda strange. When I got into the bathroom I closed the door and made sure it was locked. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. After I got dressed I thought I heard something claw at the bathroom door. I opened the door quickly and saw nothing, this gave me a weird feeling  so I ran to my room quickly. I locked the door and grabbed my phone, I  called Kai, but she didn't answer, then I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door slowly and nearly jumped out of my skin my seeing Hoodie's mask. " God dammit" I said opening the door. He again just stood there, I was about to slam the door on this motherfucker but I didn't. " so you're just gonna sit there again like a damn statue" I said raising my voice. I stormed passed him and walked out of the cabin. I sat down around the fire pit. I put my head down hoping Kai or Rose' would just call back. While I was thinking I heard someone walking behind me. I got up, pulled my gun out and turned around. My gun was pointed at Hoodie's head. He froze, I was so tired of this Bitch I just wanted to kill him. " well.....you gonna something now Motherfucker....huh" I said yelling. "hey what the hell is going on" I turned my head and saw Masky running towards me and Hoodie. " This motherfucker won't talk and it's driving me fucking insane" I said putting my finger on the trigger. " say something" I was so angry at this point I took my gun and hit Hoodie in the head with the handle, he hit the ground. I looked over and saw E.J running towards me." what the fuck why would you do that" E.J said shaking me. I didn't answer E.J, I just walked back to the cabin and closed the door. I sat down on the couch  and held my head  in my hands. I sighed in frustration. My phone started to buzz. I picked it up and saw a face time request from Kai and Rose'. I answered it and I saw Kai and Rose', They looked shocked." what" I say sitting back on the couch. " what the hell bro", Kai said looking at me like I killed someone. " I didn't kill him I knocked him out" , I said looking down at the floor. " but still he's your training buddy", Rose' said. " I know but-" I started to think about what I did was kinda wrong. " well i guess i'll apologize" I said looking up at the ceiling. " You guess" Kai said. " well that motherfucker doesn't talk" I said. "hm that is kinda weird but that just what he does" Kai said." what do you mean" I said looking at her confused." E.J gave me a lap top and I was really interested and wanted to learn about these people, and when I was looking up your partner, I found out he's known as " The silent assassin". " hmm sounds very accurate to me" I say chuckling a bit. " well I don't know maybe you need to try to talk to him" Kai said shrugging. " hmm i'll try" I said. Me. Kai and Rose' joked around and had fun for an hour until we hung up. I sat on the couch and watched a few cartoons until the door to the cabin swung open. I looked over to see Masky and Hoodie at the door. " Hello" I said looking back to the TV. " don't fight" Masky said as he left the cabin.  I didn't pay attention to Hoodie at all he was his own person just like was my own. After about an hour I got hungry so I walked into the kitchen and looked through the cabinets. I was able to find some popcorn.  I watched more TV until the popcorn was done popping. As I was watching TV minding my own business, Hoodie walked in the living room" we're starting tomorrow" He said in a low voice. I was so shocked"i'm sorry did you just fucking speak". He just walked back into his room and shut the door. I shot up from the couch and looked at the time, It was 9:00 p.m. I went to go take a shower and get ready for bed. After I got ready for bed I grabbed some clothes for the next day and put them on my nightstand.

( The Next Day) 

I woke at 8:00 a.m, I was so ready to start training. When I got done getting ready I went to the living room and sat on the couch. I waited for Hoodie to come out and tell me he was ready to go but he never came out. I walked up to his bedroom door and knocked lightly,"hey Hoodie you ready" I said calmly. I pressed my ear against the door and heard a loud crash from the inside." um everything ok in there" I said. I stepped back from the door slightly. Hoodie eventually opened the door and said he was ready. " where are we going" I said while we were walking down a path in the forest. " to the shed" Hoodie said looking forward. The rest of the time we were walking we didn't talk. After about 15 mins of walking we arrived at a shed. Hoodie walked over and opened the shed door" well go ahead pick something" I walked inside and saw alot of weapons. There were small weapons like throwing knives all the way to big battle axes. I saw a katana, it was really cool, the sheath and handle of the katana was white with a blue ribbon on the handle. I pulled the katana out the sheath, the blade was blue. "Woah that's cool" I said so fascinated. I put the sword on my back and looked for some bullets for my gun. I eventually fond some then went up to Hoodie to show him. He thought it was kinda cool too. We were walking towards the cabins when we caught up with Kai and Rose'. " hey guys" I said running up to them." hey Kacie what's going on" Kais said giving me a hug. " nothing I just picked my weapon" I said showing them my katana. " woah that's cool" Kai and Rose' said. " so what are going to do now that our partners are talking. I looked over and saw them sitting at a table talking. " hm idk I guess we can just walk back to the cabin and make s'mores when it gets a little darker" Kai said looking at the sky. " that sounds like a good idea" I said as we began to walk back towards the cabins. 

(time skip to 9:00 p.m)

I was in my cabin when Hoodie told me he had a mission to go on so he wouldn't be back for a few hours. I walked outside and grabbed everything for the fire. While Kai and Rose' grabbed stuff for the s'mores I started the fire in the fire pit. As I was moving the wood around in the fire pit, Rose' put some marshmallows and chocolate down on the bench. " so you guys ready" Kai said running towards us with sticks and graham crackers." wow haven't seen a marshmallow for some time" Kai said picking up one and putting it on the stick. "wait Kai you have to burn the stick first" Rose' said taking the stick and put it in the fire. "oh" Kai said taking the marshmallow off the stick and put it in the fire. I laughed softly at this. I took my stick and burned it as well. As we were roasting our marshmallows silence overcame us for a few minutes until Rose' broke the silence. " so what are your partners like" Rose' said looking at the fire. " well E.J he's a cannibal and eats kidneys" Kai said looking kinda creeped out by it." well my partner is very quiet" I said taking my marshmallow out of the fire." my partner seems very violent and strict" Rose' said looking around the cabin area." hm so all of our partners are weird in ways" I said chuckling. " yep pretty much" Kai said eating her s'more. " seems very depressing to me" Kai added. " well looks like we're living with these so I guess we have to get used to it" Rose' said licking the melted chocolate off her fingers. I was about to say something when someone jumped in our conversation" what ya guys talking about" I looked over and saw Masky. " god dammit" I said trying to catch my breath." what" Masky said looking at me. " you're mask scared the shit out of me" I said picking up my stick. " well i'll be in the cabin Rose' " Masky said walking away. "o.....k then" Kai said looking at Masky. " see he's so concerning" Rose' said looking down at the ground. " hold on I gotta ask him something" I said running towards Rose's cabin. I knocked on the door. Masky opened the door. " yeah" He said standing there. " weren't you, E.J, and Hoodie on the same mission" I said curious. " yeah why" Masky said crossing his arms." I was just wondering" I say walking back to the fire. " everything good" Kai said looking at me. "yeah" I said sitting down.

(time skip an hour)

We all got tired and decided to call it a night and head to our cabins. I got into the shower and got ready for bed. I got into bed and after about five minutes of tossing and turning I got on my phone and called Kai and Rose'. They answered and said they couldn't sleep either. " what time is it" Kai said. "it's 10:00 p.m" I said looking over at my clock. We were joking around when the door my cabin slammed shut causing all of us to go quiet. I got up quietly and cracked open the door. I saw Hoodie banging on the counters in the kitchen and throwing stuff. He then stopped and turned around slowly, he had blood on his hoodie and his hands. I closed to door back and locked it. I jump on my bed and picked up my phone. " what happened" Kai said. " Hoodie just came in trowing shit and banging on the counters I don't think he's in his right mind" I said laying back on the wall. We all talked until we all got tired and fell asleep. When we hung up the phone I laid in my bed, hearing Hoodie banging on the counters and throwing stuff everywhere. I listened to this until I finally fell asleep.
