The night was warm, crickets were chirping, it was a soothing sound. The cool breeze complimented the humidity in the air. The moon shone down on the lake and reflected a cool white light that painted your faces a subtle shade of blue.

You were both stargazing.

"That constellation looks like Mr.Sadies if you tilt your head and squint your eyes a little," he said, looking up and pointing.

"Nah, I think it looks more like a saggy testicle," you replied.

The two of you burst out laughing after looking at each other.

The situation was on your mind.

"Hey, Connie?"

The laughter started to die down, "Yeah?" he asked.

"I wasn't trying to be distant, I just wanted-...I just needed-...nevermind,".

"Connie, are you kidding me right now?

It's been months since that situation, and you didn't tell me then and you're still not telling me now, you didn't even mention if it was something you felt comfortable telling me or not —no, as a matter of fact, the first time I brought it up you made me think I was crazy for thinking that something was wrong," you scoffed.

Connie looked at you.

"Connie you know what? I'm out of here, talk to me when you want to be honest with yourself,".

When you stood up and were about to make your way back home, he grabbed your wrist from behind his back and turned, facing his head down.

"Y/N.."
