Marinette's POV
My lungs burn as I run gasping for air. I feel my hot hopeless tears running down my cheeks. I keep running as I fall ever so often, my already scraped hands gritting the dirt as I desperately get up, shivering in the cold damp air.
I feel my legs giving out but I keep fighting knowing I'm almost at his window. I dash to the window but I'm stunned at what I see.
Third POV
Looking back, he caught a glimpse of the glistening moon coming into view, the pitter-patter of the rain was slowly dying down. The brisk wind swept through his room, messing up his soft silky hair.
Adrien's POV
I brought my head out the window, to gaze at the pouring rain, whilst I get lost in my thoughts. My father neglects me, my mother left me, Ladybug will never love me, so what would happen if I just... left? As I took my last trembling breaths within the moist, cool air, I made up my mind to leave this brutal world.
I climbed out the window and prepared to jump. I leaped out the window when I saw Marinette running towards me. She was bawling and drenched in cold, rainwater. I heard her shriek as I closed my eyes, ready to wither away.
I get ready to feel the drenched pavement when I hear her faint screams coming closer and closer. I feel her cold, soft hand reach towards mine as I meet the pavement.
What's happening? Why can I hear her? Am I not dead?
Third POV
"Adrien! I-I LOVE YOU!" Marinette wailed just as Adrien fell into a deep stream of thought.
