you waved hinata goodbye. you look at the sky and the rain didn't look like it would get better anytime soon so you decided to just start walking then before the night comes.

you noticed you were the only one left there as you started to spread the umbrella out not until you heard a scoffing from your back.

your head shot back and it was him. rubbing his arms from the cold and looking up at you.

you motioned the umbrella towards him as you spoke "we can share if you're okay with that?" in which he didn't decline.

walking down the pouring rain, the two of you kept silent. you realized this should be the right time to do what you promised to shoyo and so you tried.

"i'm sorry," you spoke as you stopped walking.

"huh?"

"i'm sorry i ignored you without even letting you know how i felt thinking it would be the best thing to do to protect myself. when in fact i was hurting in the process of doing that but continued anyway," you spoke and looked at him just to see his face flushing red which led you to feel his face and check his temperature,"are you okay? i think you caught a cold."

a soft chuckle escaped his lips as he held your wrist that was checking his temperature and spoke "you're cute."

"huh?"

"how stupid of me to try to forget you when you are all i think of all the time," he confessed.

"excuse me, what?!" you were bewildered by his statement.

"i'm sorry for not telling you earlier too that you had too much time to overthink stuff. i just thought things was going too fast but i genuinely liked you. i figured out you thought i was not ready for a relationship because of the letters i've been ignoring but obliviously because it wasn't from you. so i'm sorry okay?" you didn't notice that his shoulder was starting to get wet from the rain just to give you much space without you even realizing.

"okay," you replied as you both continued your way home.

"y/n?"

"hm?"

"can i hold your hand... please?"

"tobio, you're getting wet from the rain. come closer," he then decided to put his arm around your shoulder giving you both more space under the umbrella.

"better?"

"much better."

it was a cold weather, the butterflies and the heat on both your faces are the only things that kept you two warm.

this story is basically a flop. i'm sorry for keeping you all waiting after a long time. to be honest, i couldn't continue this story because i forgot about the plot that it was supposed to have and totally forgot that i even wrote this thing.

it was supposed to be a short story but it took too much time to finish but hey, it's done now.

this might have been boring and cringey but i totally had fun writing this. also, thank you for all of those who voted and left comments. y'all never failed to make my day✨
