The front door was wide open but how. Is someone in here

You stood there still, looking at the front door in pure terror while thinking the worst case scenario could happen. You heard a noise in the house and it made you jump. You looked there and saw a figure in the darkness of the house. You froze in fear before you heard a familiar laugh

You just looked and then the lights went on and you saw your dad standing there. He was laughing as he saw that you were afraid

"I hope that shows you not to leave the door open y/n"

Your dad said in a mocking way which made you sigh

"Thanks I guess"

"You're mok is sleeping already, get some sleep too y/n"

You nodded as you made your way to your room, closing the door behind you

The next morning

You walked downstairs to see your dad on the door and your mom was packing her purse

"Where are you two going? "

You're mom jumped a bit when she heard your voice.

"Oh y/n dear you scared me. Me and your dad are going to go and help your brother with his move"

You're dad was clearly annoyed by this and you understood why he would be because of all the gas that was spent driving back and forth to his dorm. You nodded your head, still a bit sleepy.

You're parents made their way to the door until your mom stopped and turned to look at you.

"And y/n tomorrow we have guests coming, so do us a favor and clean around the house. There's food in the fridge"

"Okay.... Bye, have a safe trip"

You said as they closed the front door and you walked to the kitchen to grab something to eat only to realize there wasn't much but you ended up eating bread once again but just bread, nothing on top and that was somewhat hilarious to you at the moment and also a bit sad. You thought if your parents were gonna grab something for tomorrow to eat. You texted her and put your phone away and went to change you're clothes.

You walked downstairs to and went back to eating your bread. You're phone made a noise and you checked it only to see a long message from your mom

"Yes we are getting food after we get back but it's gonna be late that we are back once again. Try to make something. And if you don't mind to clean the house a bit, we have guests coming tomorrow so we don't want them to see the mess we have in the house . Thank you dear "

"Guests?! What the actual fuck, who the fuck is coming to our house tomorrow"

You said out loud as you took a bite of your bread. You typed a quick response before going back to your room to clean it up so that was done first. After an hour of fighting with the vacuum and the rug you finally managed to clean your room completely and now it was time to clean the rest of the house. 

You had somehow managed to clean the whole house in 5 hours, only to realize you haven't eaten anything after the bread slice you had in the morning so you decide to go look into the kitchen for something to eat only to find raw pasta and after a moment of thinking you said

"Let's give it a go and play master chef" 

And with that you started to cook your five star meal of pasta. 

Few hours later

You were in your room when you heard the front door open and you heard your parents talking and closing the door. You walked downstairs you see that they had went and picked up some food 

"Oh hey y/n, you did a good job at cleaning the house"

"Oh thanks mom "

You said as you walked to them only for them to give you you're bag of food. Your mom walked to her purse and got her wallet

"Here y/n, some pocket money"

She said as she handed you 5 €/$ . You thanked her and went to your room to enjoy you're meal

After you had eaten and gotten changed into your pyjamas you heard a knock on your room door 

"Come in"

You said loudly. You're parents stepped in and you sat down

"So what's up? "

"We have guest's coming tomorrow around 1pm for dinner. The family has two son's if I remember correctly one of them is the same age as you and the other one was two years younger. So dress in some clean clothes and remember to behave in front of our guests"

You're dad announced and your mom was nodding along side him which made you question what he was saying but you nodded you're head 

"Goodnight y/n"

Your dad said as he and your mom was leaving the room

"Goodnight for you two too"

You said at they closed your rooms door, you closed the lights and slowly let the dream world take you away

In the dream world

You stood in the woods again... But this time you saw that the woods were bright, meaning its wasn't night once again. You looked around only to realize you were in the woods nearby you're home. You started to walk before everything went dark

You all of a sudden were in your own bedroom, it was pitch black in the room. As your eyes got used to the darkness you saw a figure in the corner of your room. You noticed the person was holding something in their hand... You couldn't figure out what it was. You then heard a laughter, just pure laughter and there you could make few words out 

" You can't save him or anyone y/n"

Dream ends

You jolted up from you're bed only to get out of bed and time turn the lights on in you're room. You made sure there was nothing or no one in your room, you sighed

"It was just a dream y/n, don't be silly"

You said to yourself and closing the lights and going back to bed
