A cruel prince

anything for mom

I woke up the next morning to find my head on Daniel's bare chest and his arm around my shoulder. I try to move to the other side but he pull me closer to him.

I softly touch is chest and say "if I'm not mistaking you have a meeting to attend at 8am." I turn to look at the clock it was 7:13am "better get you adorable ass up" i added, not paying attention to the words that are coming out of my mouth.

He smile softly and say "sound like someone been checking me out."

I blushed a little. I must admit he was extremely handsome.

He open his eyes and say in a playful tone "let's get clean up so we could go see your mother. Shall we?"

We got up and headed to the bathroom. He hand me another big white shirt.

"After seeing your mother, we going shopping." He was standing behind me. I turned to look at His face and gave him a 'I'm confuse' look.

"What? I'm tired of giving you my white shirts". He whine.

I walk into the kitchen where mom was working. I saw Trisha and ask her for my mom.

"After the guards dragged you out of the cell,she stabbed one of them with a table knife. They beat her and she doesn't look like she'll survive. she need see a doctor." Trisha explain.

"Where is she?"

"She's sitting behind the old tree outside so the guards won't see her."

"I have to talk to the prince."

Daniel was talking to two guards outside. When he finished, he walked in the kitchen. Everyone looked scared and busy.

Daniel wrapped his arm around my wraist and ask "have you seen your mother? I still have a meeting to attend."

"I will do whatever you ask for as long as you do me this favor. Help my mom. Please. she's dying."

"Where is she?"

"Outside behind the old tree."

He looked at my eyes and ask "anything?"

"Anything."

He went behind the tree and carried my mom to a small room that smells like roses.

He called a nurse and gave my mom prescriptions.

I sat next to my mom. She slept for the whole day.

"Mya"

I turned to look at my mom weak eyes.

"Mya, your alive and okay. What did the prince do to you?"

"He hired me as his personal maid."I kissed her hand, "I'm glad that your okay."

"He going to kill me," my mom say with tears in her eyes "that evil witch is going to kill me"

"That's a nice way of saying 'thank you' for saving your life." The door open and Daniel walks in.

"How are you feeling?," he didn't let my mom answer and say "I need to borrow your daughter for a couple of seconds."

"Please don't hurt my princess." My mom say.

"No she'll be just fine. I promise."

He took my hand and walk me out the room.

"I want you be my date for my birthday party." He look at he's watch "its already 10:57pm. We'll have to go shopping tomorrow."

"Okay"

"Go spend the night with your mom. I'll send your brother to you too. Goodnight."

Couple of minutes later Michael walked into the room.
