the moment sunoo shot his eyes wide open, his first view was just his plain and bland roof. the day right after he and sunghoon's anniversary, the latter had called him to ask if he were free to discuss about something serious.
sunoo, being the bubbly boy he was. excitedly got ready to meet up with his boyfriend, only if he knew how much pain he would feel afterwards.
now, four days later. he is still unable to believe what had happened. did sunghoon, seriously just break up with him ?
it broke him, completely. he didn't have the motivation to do anything in particular, not even having the energy to hangout with his elder sister.
it was completely understandable, who wouldn't feel this way when you and your significant other were so certain of how strong the two of you would be — moreover, promising to never let go of each other.
is this what they meant by some promises are meant to be broken ?
as funny as it seems, the pieces didn't quite click together. just a few days ago, in their anniversary they were happy. laughters and chattering were heard all around the room and it was only those two who were making those sounds.
so why leave sunoo when nothing bad even happened ?
sunoo couldn't cry again, he promised himself he wouldn't, he promised sunghoon he wouldn't.
he couldn't possibly hate sunghoon, even sunghoon looked like he was going to burst into tears at any moment when he broke the news.
sunoo scratched his eyes to wake himself up fully and let out a long yawn. he tilted his head to the side to see his phone on top of his table next to the polaroid pictures of him and sunghoon.
hand reaching out to grab his phone, he turned it on to check if he had received any message from sunghoon.
his thumb scrolled past the other notifications from his friends checking up on him, eyes scanning to get a glimpse of a notification with the user named "hoon ♡︎" but to his dismay, there was none.
he heaved a sigh as his hand reached the curtain, putting them aside to let in some sunshine.
he closed his eyes as he inhaled and exhaled to calm down his breathing and feel at ease. he repeated this action for a few times before he just completely stopped.
"sunoo." the black haired called his boyfriend.
"yes?" sunoo asked, he turned to look at his boyfriend and smiled.
they were outside, on top of a hill located near sunghoon's house. on special occasions, well specifically at every 19th day of the month they would go on top of the hill just to stargaze.
