The next day Louis woke up to the stupid sound of his alarm clock. While muttering profanities to himself, he rolled out of bed and stumbled into the bathroom, still half asleep. After having a quick shower and brushing his teeth he had to decide what to wear.

Louis left his hair in a messy fringe thinking it looked alright and pulled out some black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, and a baggy grey hoodie. He quickly put them on and sprayed himself with some deodorant before going to check if Mark had woken the girls up and if they were dressed.

After being pleasantly surprised at finding his sisters up and dressed, he went downstairs to get some breakfast. Knowing Mark sorted out breakfast for the twins and Lottie and Fizzy being old enough to get their own, Louis could relax a bit. He still had 10 minutes before he had to leave to pick Niall up, this time with Lottie, so he went and sat at the table with his sisters, chuckling as he saw Phoebe nearly falling asleep into her breakfast.

The family talked a bit throughout breakfast, mainly about Lottie starting 'grown-up school' but soon enough it was time for the two eldest to leave. Louis grabbed his backpack and slipped on his Vans before giving the twins and Fizzy a peck on the forehead and a wave to Mark and then he was out the door.

Louis climbed into his small car carelessly throwing his backpack on the backseat just as Lottie got in behind him, leaving the front seat free for Niall. The drive to Niall's was short, not even 5 minutes and when they arrived, the blonde boy was already waiting outside his house.

"Hi, Lou!" Niall chirped, getting in the car before turning around and grinning widely at Lottie, scaring her a little. "Lottie, my girl, you're so old now. Can you believe it? You'll be getting wrinkles soon."

Lottie playfully slapped Niall's arm, muttering a 'shut up' under her breath. Niall just grinned at her again, turning back around in his seat and turning the volume of the radio up. Around 7 minutes later they arrived at the school and Louis carefully parked the car. Before he made any move to get out, though, he turned to face Lottie.

"Now, I won't do this inside because I don't want to embarrass you, but good luck today, Lots. Call me if you need anything, yeah?" Louis smiled reassuringly at his younger sister, knowing she's nervous but is doing a good job at hiding it.

"Got it! I'll see you later boys," and with that she was out of the car, waving at some of her friends who were also starting today. Louis and Niall chuckled quietly before also making their way out of the car and into the school building.

"LOUEHHH"

Louis had barely stepped foot into the corridor before another body was crashing with his. He instantly knew it was Dylan as Liam was a lot calmer than this. Dylan and Liam were cousins but couldn't be more different from each other. While Liam was respectful and polite, Dylan was loud and curious, probably why he became fast friends with Niall when he moved here four months ago.

"Heyyyy, why don't I get a welcome like that?" Niall whined as Dylan pulled back from the hug, throwing an arm around Louis' shoulders instead.

"Because you aren't the love of my life," Dylan smirked. You see, Dylan is straight (and very much sure of his sexuality) and has a girlfriend of 2 years now, who lives in the town across. Dylan just loved to be the little shit he is and be overly dramatic with Louis. It also always made him laugh which was a plus.

"Oh shove off you tosser," Louis grumbled but there was a big grin on his face which showed he didn't really mind. Liam then emerged and gave Niall a big hug first, then Louis.

"Missed you, lads. How're you both doing?" Liam asked giving them both warm smiles, aware of how shit life has been recently.

"Getting there," Louis replied smiling lightly while he started walking to his locker, with the boys following closely behind. He could hear Niall still complaining to Dylan about being his least favourite and Dylan talking about his endless love for Louis. A couple of students were eyeing them warily but Louis couldn't care less, he would do the same if he heard what the boys were rambling on about.
