chapter 4

after being stared at, I waltz through the door right to the front office. the lady who helped me was really nice she just seemed really annoyed. the kid behind me sitting down was waiting to talk to the principal. I think he was the guy I saw at the airport. i guess he was in trouble somehow. I got called in to the principals office and the proncipal showed me around and then escorted me into my first class. as I walked it you could hear a pen drop. I sit down next to this girl who looks really nice. "hi I am Jenna but you can call me Jen!what's your name?" she said very excitedly "hi my names Ellie! I just moved here from Houston, Texas" I said "woah that's really cool what's it like in Texas? like the reputation of it is just Cowboys and stuff what is it really like?" Jen said. "honestly it's just like here well so far I just moved her 3 days ago." I said. oh ok cool why'd you move?" she said. "I'd rather not talk about it..." I said awkwardly. "oh ok I totally understand you just met me so I would expect you to tell me." she said sweetly. after about 10 minutes of the class I asked her "hey do you want to come over today? I don't get these notes". " Ya of course I this my best subject!" she said as that kid walked in and sat right next to me. "Nash Grier why are you late?" the teacher said impatiently. "talking to the principal" he said. he looked over at me glaring. oh gosh...

(finally!!!)
i was at the air port about three days ago and I saw some girl that was gorgeous. I just knew I had to see her again. so when I walked into school the principal pulled me into the office and talked to me about me setting the new school record for tarties. I don't like to brag but it's 43. so when I was sitting outside the office I saw that girl again. Nash dude stay calm play it cool. the little voice inside of me said. the girls at this school like "hard-to-get" as they call it. so I just act like I am too cool for her which is so not true I bet she is the most sincere and loving person ever.
