Yawning I stretched as I laid in bed. Sitting up I waiting for a few minutes to see if Wills would come in. Maybe he doesn't know I'm awake. Getting out of bed I looked down at the baggy cargo shorts and the plain white shirt Wills gave me. Looking down at my cast maybe Wills will teach me how to hit people. That would be awesome. Going into the bathroom I looked at myself. I was short and pale. I had a large bruise on my right check. I had a pink cast on my right arm and a bandage on my right upper arm from when the bullet grazed me. I was just a little beaten up.

Yawning again I considered going back to bed but I wanted to see Wills. Just to see what was decided not for any other reason.

Sticking my head out of the door I didn't see anybody. I jumped to fast when something touched my foot. Looking down it was a cat. A freaking cat scared the crap out of me. Picking up the small white ball I walked to the staircase.

"I wonder what your name is little boy" I asked looking down the stairway. Running back to the room I expected Wills to walk in any moment. There was a slight creak from down stairs.

I got this really bad feeling and went to the bed. Slipping under I held my breath hoping to the gods that it was Wills. I saw multiple pairs of shoes quietly move threw the house. Maybe these are the people sent to kill me that is why Wills wasn't here. He was going to let them kill me. We'll I'm not going to make this easy.

Holding my hand over my mouth I tried not to make a sound.

I yawned as he pulled onto his street. It had taken a while to give report. I think the boss knew something was off but he was waiting for me to say something. Turning into the gate it was open. Stopping at the gate there was a van and a guy flagging someone inside. Getting out I pulled my gun and made my way towards them. Two guys came rushing out. Between them was Rain. One had her feet and other had her under her arms and she kicked and screamed.

"Let me go you assholes" she yelled. I couldn't help but smiled at her fiery spirit. Sneaking behind the van I screwed on my silencer. Can't have the neighbors calling the cops now can I?

Shooting the driver I moved around the van as Rain screamed in pain after a tiny pop. I pointed my gun at a man in a mask with a gun pointed inside the van.

"Hey" I say to get his attention before I shot his right between the eyes.

"What the hell" a male voice yelled.

"Let the girl go" I said moving towards the open door.

"Don't kill me man and I'll do whatever you want" he said.

"Rain" I called.

"Here" she whispered.

"Please step out of the van and move towards me" I said waiting for her to get out of the way. She slowly moved towards the edge of the van. As she moved out I noticed bloody hole on her right thigh. Damn they shot her.

The guy climbed out behind Rain. He had his hand tightly around her neck and the other had the gun pointed to her head.

"Let her go and you can go and run" I said pointing my gun directly at him "this is your only chance mate."

"OK" he said letting go of Rain. She fell into my arms. Pulling her to the back of the van I waited until the guy was in the bushes before taking a shot at him. He went down and didn't get back up.

"Are you ok" I asked looking down at her. She looked like she was in pain but she nodded and tried to stand.

"No don't" I said picking her up "Let's get you inside."

"I thought you were going to let them kill me" she whispered as she held onto me like her life depended on it.

"No I would never let anyone kill you" I whispered kissing her head "put pressure on your leg. I'll be right back." Setting her on the sofa I rushed to my medicine cabinet.

"Where are- here we go" I muttered bringing the strongest pain pill I had "Take this it will make you feel better" I said giving her three white pills.

"I don't have anything to drink" she whispered. Grabbing a glass of what I helped her sit up.

"Jaz" I called onto his phone "Rain is hurt. Some guys pulled up and shot her. Please come and help her. Please."

I hung up the phone and watched Rain groan in pain as I held the wound closed. Please be ok.
