Pain. All I felt was pain.
Pain then a dizzying headache that made my head spin. I opened my eyes, but all I could see was black. I began to take quick breaths as I began to panic, each breath causing pain to the lower part of my torso and chest. Calm down! I heard voice hiss in my head. You're going to kill us! I stopped my quick, panicked breathing, and focused on the voice in my head.
Us? I questioned. For a moment there was no response, like the voice in my head didn't want to be noticed anymore. Yes. The voice replied. Us. Talking to my mind distracted me from the pain for a bit. Only when I felt a sharp pain from my stomach did I return to my senses. I growled as the pain shot through my stomach to my chest. My vision cleared, and I could see that I was impaled on two Triceratops horns one through the lower part of my torso and chest.
I groaned as I felt another sharp pain course through my body. "Why am I not dead?" I asked out loud. Because you are strong, my friend, my mind answered. Stronger than that Velociraptor. My head jolted up at the mention of that Raptor. I reached my arm up, and grasped the horn of the skull, the mention of the Velociraptor seemed to give me strength; a thirst for blood. I gripped the horn that was through my chest first. Using both of my talons to pull myself up the.
I felt bones crack as I gradually moved up the horn. Blood poured out of my chest as I inched my way painfully up the horn. I tasted the unpleasant taste of blood as coughed out the crimson liquid as to not choke on it. Suddenly, I quickly slipped through the horn, feeling something explode from inside my chest, and I screamed in pain, echoing through the halls of the mansion and shaking the windows.
A piece of glass from the roof fell as I let out the painful shriek. The shard of glass whistled past my head, imbedding itself into the ground below me. I stared at it, eyes wide. That was too close, I thought. I looked back to where the horn was, and saw that my chest had escaped the painful embrace of the horn.
I released a breath I didn't even know I was holding, and relaxed, the taste of blood still present in the back of my throat. I was now dangling by the lower part of my torso. It felt like my entire body from lower torso down to my head was being pulled apart. The muscles in my legs felt like they were being ripped apart one by one.
I need to break free. Just then, I heard a crack as the skull gave way to my weight, and I felt a gust of wind as the skull began falling. As the skull rushed to meet the ground, I struggled to get myself into a position that wouldn't result in my skull being crushed by a larger replica of a Herbivore. I found it a bit ironic. I closed my eyes, and waited for the impact.
A loud and painful sound echoed through the halls of the mansion. I heard ribs crack and blood rise to my mouth. The blood from my mouth erupted out, replacing the painful screech. Opening my eyes, I saw the huge skull that was on top of me, and a bit of the ceiling. The ceiling was pretty bland, not much going on, apart from the odd light or two suspended from the ceiling. The lights themselves had seen better days, either they were missing their limbs that held the light bulbs or they were completely gone.
Pain, of course, brought me back from staring at half destroyed lights, and back to the giant skull crushing me. I growled as I tried to wriggle out from underneath the bone crushing weight. Every time the skull moved, I felt my bones crack.
Eventually, the skull moved, and I was able to squirm my body out from underneath it. I lay there for a few minutes, staring up at the ceiling as if it was the only thing I wanted to see. Of course, that wasn't true, I wanted to see more; see sunlight, to see the trees and feel the wind lightly brush over my scales. But most of all I just wanted to be... free.
