Prologue:
Spyder Artemis Jackson never knew her parents. She was born to her single mother, Tabitha Marie Jackson, and a father who couldn't have even stayed around to see her born. Her mother died in childbirth and Spyder had no known relatives and was forced into foster homes. Time after time after time Spyder ran away from her foster homes because of the trouble that seemed to follow her everywhere. Finally, she just went off the grid and lived on the streets. One day when Spyder was 14, dared by her friend Max to sneak into Oscorp Towers, she discovered a bizarre room full of spider webs.
Peter Parker isn't the only one with spider powers now.
