In a galaxy far, far away, the Clone Wars raged across the stars. It was a brutal conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance, also known as the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS). For years, both sides fought fiercely, unaware that they were mere pawns in the grand design of Darth Sidious—the Sith Lord secretly orchestrating the war. Under his guise as Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, he manipulated events from the shadows, pulling the strings from the very beginning—from the Phantom Menace, to the Attack of the Clones, and finally, the Revenge of the Sith.

But unbeknownst to him, some of the Separatist generals, admirals, and high-ranking officers uncovered the truth: Sidious had planned to betray them from the start. As Order 66 was executed, wiping out the Jedi and dismantling the Republic, a small faction of Separatist leaders barely managed to survive. They safeguarded a portion of the droid army, preventing its complete shutdown following the massacre on Mustafar—the volcanic planet where the Confederacy's leadership met their end.

For ten months, the remnants of the Separatist military hid in the Outer Rim, rebuilding their forces in secrecy. They lived in fear, knowing that the newly formed Galactic Empire would eventually hunt them down. Their goal was clear: to prepare for a final stand against the oppressive rule of the Empire.

However, their time in hiding was cut short when an Imperial probe droid detected an active CIS droid factory and fleet deep within the Outer Rim. When Emperor Palpatine learned that a faction of Separatist forces had survived Order 66, his fury was unmatched. He would not allow his hard-fought rise to power to be undone.

Summoning his apprentice, Darth Vader, to the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, the Emperor devised a new mission.

Imperial Palace, Coruscant

The scene opens as Lord Vader strides through the grand halls of the Imperial Palace, flanked by two stormtroopers. The polished floors reflect the ominous glow of his crimson-tinted visor as he makes his way through the corridors, past towering statues and vast banners bearing the insignia of the Empire.

Finally, he arrives at the Emperor's throne room. Two crimson-clad Royal Guards stand vigilant at the entrance, unmoving as the Sith Lord passes. The air is thick with dark energy as the throne slowly turns, revealing Emperor Palpatine, cloaked in shadow.

Emperor Palpatine: "Lord Vader."

Without hesitation, Darth Vader drops to one knee, bowing his head before his master.

Darth Vader: "Why have you summoned me, my master?"

His deep, mechanized voice echoes through the vast chamber. Lifting his head slightly, he meets the sinister yellow eyes of the Emperor, whose twisted face is illuminated by the dim lighting.

Emperor Palpatine: "Twenty-four hours ago, one of our Imperial probe droids detected an anomaly in the Outer Rim. I fear this could pose a threat to my Empire."

Darth Vader: "What could be so concerning that you summon me personally?"

The Emperor's expression darkens as he utters a single word:

Emperor Palpatine: "The Separatists."

A tense silence fills the room. Beneath his mask, Vader's rage swells. The Separatists—the enemy he believed he had eradicated on Mustafar—still lived. His left fist clenches in fury as he recalls the bitter war, the betrayals, and the carnage.

Sensing his apprentice's growing anger, the Emperor smiles wickedly.

Darth Vader: "How is this possible? I personally executed the Separatist leaders on Mustafar and issued the shutdown command to their droid armies."
