Hey. :) This is one of the first poems I've ever writen...I wrote it about a week ago. I'm not usually a poetry person, but I was thinking of song lyrics and I came up with the beginning of this and it kept going from there.

It's probably so amateur-ish compared to all the others on here. Especially if your a poet, or a poetry reader. But, nonetheless, I hope you like it. =}

Killing Me Slowly

I can't take it anymore.

That smile,

That evil glint in your eye.

The way you shadow my movements,

Follow me,

Stalk me.

I hate the suspense,

The feeling of dread.

Just do it.

Take the knife,

Use the gun.

I know you have those weapons.

Your waiting,

For the right moment.

Can it be now?

I'm sick of being scared,

Running and hiding.

I don't care anymore.

Do your job,

What you've been prepping for.

Kill me.

Just take the knife,

Or use the gun,

I know you have.

Make it quick,

That's all I ask.

And leave my body alone.

I'm almost looking forward to it, now.

It's a relief, almost.

Just hurry up.

Kill me.

With that knife,

or that gun,

I know you hide.
