Amity Blight's Perspective

Onyx A/N This is a couple's project so uh don't judge us for being doofuses. Also sorry for the short chapter.

'GWAOfficialAzura is typing...' The text on the crystal ball in front of me expressed. Today had been a difficult day, between the human messing with my studies and the twins' pranks, and the most relaxing thing I felt I needed to do was geek out with people I didn't know.

Okay, I understand what you're thinking.

Amity Blight having online friends? What about her real ones?

To be honest, my true "friends" are terrible. None of them really connect with me. Not like these guys. I mean, there aren't a lot of older people who still read the Good Witch Azura series. It would be social suicide if anyone discovered I still read those novels.

'I just moved to Bonesborough a few months ago actually! - GWAOfficialAzura 8:46' the screen read.

I pondered on what to say and began typing back. 

'That's cool. I've lived in the city for my entire life. Maybe I could give you a tour if we ever bump into one another. - GWAOfficialHecate 8:47'

'GWAOfficialAzura is typing...'

'That'd be awesome!!! You go to Hexside, too, right? :0 What if we know each other?! - GWAOfficialAzura 8:47'

Know each other?! They'll hate me if they find out that I'm Queen Bitch of the freshman class. My only friend... I can't ruin this. Not like what happened with Willow...

'Maybe we do. Honestly, I'm scared to reveal myself to you. Maybe I will one day,' I replied.

'GWAOfficialAzura is typing...'

'Aww man :/'

I felt remorseful.

I'm losing my chances of having actual friends because I'm scared of losing them in the first place. What the hell Amity?!

'How about this- I'll tell you one thing about me that is hard to notice every day for a week and by Friday if you don't figure it out I'll wait to show you. - GWAOfficialHecate 8:50'

'Oooh like the game Guess Who?'

I scrunched up my face and began twiddling my fingers.

'Awhatawhahuh? - GWAOfficialHecate 8:51'

'Nvm it's just a game I played as a kid - GWAOfficialAzura 8:52'

'Okayyyy...'

"Amity lights out, child. A Blight is always prompt. You can't be an upstanding Blight with a messed-up sleep schedule. The eyebags will make you look horrendous," I heard the wretched voice of my patriarch yell from downstairs. I took a deep breath so I would refrain from being punished for my tone.

"Yes, father," I simply responded.

'I got to go to bed, I guess I might see you tomorrow?' I sent.

'That sucks :/ I hope so! Good night Hec!!'

I smiled. It kind of hurts. I don't generally get to smile often anymore.

'Gn Azu.'
