It was a normal day for her, she got up in the morning her thoughts a jumbled mess of the previous night's events. She got herself into a sticky situation at work where she forgot to do her research on her pitch for a company so she stayed up all night brainstorming and figuring out how to come up with the best pitch she could come up with and she did, she came up with a lot of good ideas and movements to promote the company to become big and seen. She moved around the house like a zombie and went through the morning rituals not even present in her house but in her mind thinking I have to get through this.
She went into her closet with her coffee in her hand and she pulled out her power dress, the one where she felt confident in and she went out of the closet picking up some undergarments to wear on the way. She sat in front of her dressing table and started with her make up and smokey eye and a bold red lip and her favourite mascara which made her eyelashes look longer than they were. She then put on her dress and and then put on her favourite comfortable Louboutins on and looked at herself in the mirror she felt empowered and much better than she woke up because she looked good and felt good. She grabbed her bag and her laptop and a few papers and rushed to the door to make it on time to work. She walked fast on the side way and felt the normal buzz of the city people talking on their phones, people in a rush bustling by. She kept going until she made her way to the Subway and took it to the next city over.
The subway was normal people talking on their phones, people reading the newspaper, she caught herself lost in her own mind dreaming and then she felt someone's eyes on her she glanced around and made eye contact with a handsome man, he smirked at her but all she did was avoid eye contact and looked down to her phone, she left the train and made her way to her office and went up to the floor she worked at. She sat at her desk and made all her last minute fixes to her pitch and went into the conference room to prep and set up the presentation. The members all came in she was explaining her pitch to them and that is when she saw mystery guy from the trains looking at her with full attention when she was explaining she gave me a small smile and continued talking the members loved her pitch and they are going to use it she tanked them all and then they all left. She cleared out the room and noticed the train guy was there from earlier he stood in front of her and introduced himself as "Jax" and she smiled and introduced herself as "Raelynn" he smiled and said "A beautiful name for a beautiful girl" and he left leaving her flabbergasted.
