ATHENA's POV

"Why are we here? Aren't we going to go home?" I asked Maximus as I looked around the room. We just arrived in Paradis Zorion. I couldn't help but to get amazed of this hotel. The amenities and interior design were unique yet pleasing to the eye.

"We can't go back home yet." My eyebrows creased.

"Why?"

"Because they went there."

I gasped in shock. "What do you mean they went there? How did they discover that place?"

"You heard it right, mi hermosa. You might be wondering why I agreed for you to come to our mission today even if it was so dangerous. It was because of this. A spy of mine almost got caught yesterday but he managed to escape. But the problem was, he dropped his phone while escaping and my enemies got a hold of it.

"They used it to contact me and because I thought the one calling me was my Intel, I answered it. I'm sure that they already located that place already so I thought that it would be better for us not to go there yet."

"What about Lisa? They might hurt her." I answered worriedly. A small smile broke across his face.

"Don't worry. I made sure that she's safe. Besides, I doubt if they could get in my property just like that. Yes, they might located it already but I'm sure that they could never get the chance to get into the house." His voice was confident.

"How come you sound so confident? Your enemies as dangerous and has all the means to do whatever they could."

"Yes, you're right but if they have the means, I too have that. That place is full of traps. Besides that, my men are there right now. They're ready in case someone will attack any moment. Even though, we've been relaxing together lately, I made sure that we're prepared in case they manage to locate that place." I bit my lower lip and then heaved a sigh.

"What's wrong, mi hermosa? You look like you want to ask me something."

"Yeah, you're right. I'm just wondering about your men that you've been talking about. How come you have people working for you? What about Onyx and Joaquin? Are they really your friends or they're one of your men too?

"I mean, yes, you're a prince. But you've been away from your kingdom for so long and I can't help but to wonder how did you manage to have men working to protect you like this. I can tell that these men of yours are not just ordinary bodyguards. They're more than that." I voiced out my thought. He remained silent for a couple of seconds before he finally answered.

"Have you ever heard about Prince Kaiser of Esperanza?" My forehead scrunched. Esperanza is another monarch country not that far from Nuevo Imperio.

"Yes. What about him?"

"Many people helped him in order to take back his throne, right? A secret organization took him in and served as his protector until he was finally ready to fight for his right. That happened to me too. Onyx and Joaquin are part of them and aside from that, they're my friends."
