"SO IT was just a rumour then?" Emma asked through the phone.
"Well duh! You'd be one of the first to know if I ever end up with someone," Ashley replied.
"You're so stupid," Clay commented, still sitting on his bed, eating his chips.
"Who's that?" Emma asked.
"You're stupid! This is all your fault, asshole,"
"How is it my fault! You told them we had kids!"
"WHAT?" Emma shrieked but both Ashley and Clay ignored her.
"The fucking rumour is that I have a boyfriend! Not that I have kids!" Ashley stuck her tongue out at him and altered her focus back to Emma who was still very confused.
"It's just my boy toy, Ems," Ashley shrugged.
"I'M YOUR WHAT?" Clay bellowed.
"Ooh! Is that Clay?" Emma teased.
"Yes it is!" Clay answered as he stood up closer to Ashley and took her phone from him to speak with Emma, "I am Clay,"
"Who names their son Clay?!" Emma giggled, making Ashley laugh and Clay raised his eyebrows in surprise at the two best friends who were laughing at his name.
"Excuse me?! My mother named m-"
"Shut the fuck up, Clay," Ashley muttered and looked back towards his PC, "I'm going to unmute, both of you, keep quiet,"
