Over Relationships!

"Torres what are you doing?", Miranda said as she walked up behind her looking over her shoulder at the computer.

"Booking our trip", Callie said excited.

"Who's trip?", Miranda asked confused.

"Our trip. The census have been low for days now and there are no necessary scheduled surgeries coming up and for the next week other residents and attending's are coming here to train and practice. So technically we should plan not to be here and take this as a sign for a vacation."

Miranda read from the screen, "Omni Mount Washington Hotel & Bretton Woods Ski Resort."

"Don't we need to be here for them to train with us."

"Ummm maybe, but if they've made it this far and still don't know what to do then they're in the wrong field anyway. Plus we all are rotating out from the trip."

"Here Torres...here's my cut for the hotel stay", Derek and Meredith said coming up to hand Callie an envelope with money in it.

"Who is we all Torres, who's all going?"

"Pretty much everyone. I'm renting 3 luxury family suites because there was a better discount for all of us that way and people are paying me before the end of next week. And don't worry friend I already paid for your stay. I know you're good for it, plus I know where you live and work and everyone else too", Callie said laughing.

"Well you need to refund yourself or gift it to someone else because I'm not going", Miranda said folding her arms.

"Oh come on Miranda why not?"

"Because I'm not in the mood to go and isn't that snow....oh hell naw it's damn near April and you want me to choose to go and freeze somewhere when I can stay here and be in decent temperature."

"It's the last month before majority of that ski lodges close."

"Well that should tell you something right there."

"Yeah that we need to go ASAP. Come on it could be fun."

"Could be!"

"Bailey it's just a few days."

"You want me to freeze my ass off for a few days?"

"Yesssssss....hey you never know you just might enjoy yourself."

"I'll think about it Torres."

"Yesss", Callie said getting up and hugging Miranda.

"Ugh....get off of me. I said I'll think about it", Miranda said tensing her body up.

"Yeeee I can't wait", Callie said excited.

Miranda walked away going to prep for her next surgery.

Throughout her entire surgery she thought about this snow trip. "I can't believe Callie wants to go to the cold instead of something warm and tropical. What is wrong with her?", Miranda said underneath her breath.

"Dr. Bailey?"

"Yes!"

"What was that, did you say something?", Dr. Webber asked.

"No sorry Sir, just was thinking out loud. Ready to close ", Miranda said.

Miranda scrubbed out and walked down to the cafeteria to find something to eat because she's just been going and going all day with no breaks or food.

"Hi I'll take a grilled chicken sandwich with some BBQ baked chips and a green smoothie", Miranda said then went to stand and wait for her food.

"Soooooo have you looked up any cute ski outfits Bailey?", Robbins said coming up to Miranda.
