In our current class, our teacher Aizawa is talking about the importance of mates in the hero world, he told us that a large amount of our parents put us in arranged marriages to make sure that we are safe. Omegas are really the ones at risk and are required by law to have alpha by the age of 18 which is coming up for a lot of us. I am an alpha so I do not need to worry. Us alphas have ruts but they only happen every 3 months and only last one or 2 days, while omegas have heats every month and last 4-7 days depending on the omega.
The teacher starts to read off all the names of kids who are going to be in an arranged marriage as it was required that the parents told the school who already had a determined partner and who didn't.

I was surprised when I heard my name, I mean my mom never told me that she wanted me to be in an arranged marriage or anything, I pull out my phone and send a text to my mom asking about it. She tells me to come to her house tonight and then we will go meet the guy who I'm going to marry. She wouldn't tell me anything except that he's a boy and he's an omega. I saw that kacchan was also on his phone so I decided to ask him about it.
"Hey, kacchan who are you texting?"
"The old hag since she put me in this stupid arranged marriage, she told me I have to meet him tonight."
"Oh, you're marrying a guy?"
"I have to"
"Why?" I ask confused
"I'm an omega," He says quietly
I was surprised, I never expected kacchan to be an omega, I always thought that he was an alpha and so did everyone else, no one ever even asked him and just assumed because of how mean and intimidating he is that he couldn't possibly be an omega. Omegas are supposed to be sweet and submissive, kinda like how I am, even though I'm an alpha.
"Yeah, I know it's surprising can you stop staring at me?" he said snapping me back into reality
"s-sorry kacchan"
