Age regression is a coping mechanism others use to cope with past trauma, anxiety, stress, etc. Age regressing is when someone mentally regress to a younger age. This can be anywhere from an infant to a teenager. It is in no way related to ageplay, which is a kink in the BDSM community.
Pet regression is similar. It is also a coping mechanism in which someone mentally regresses to have a functioning brain similar to an animal's. The most common animals to regress to in the community are usually kittens and puppies, but you can also regress to animals like birds, ponies, unicorns, foxes, horses, etc. - Pet regression will not be touched on in this book, lmk if you'd like me to make a separate book to touch on petre! xoxo
