Aquarium(Renga)

Chapter 3

A/N - Hellooo!! I was recently reading a ton of oneshots, and loved them so much! I think I might write some oneshots, in the near future! Also, tysm for 60+ reads!! <3 I'm writing this chapter in class again, so if there are any grammar mistakes, please be sure to tell me! 

Also, if I write something in brackets, specially for this chapter, it means something written down, on like a note.

While they were skating, it had gotten pretty dark, and it was hard for the two of them to see. 

Reki - "Langa I think it's best we get off our skateboards, we can't see well. We could fall."

Langa - "It's fine Reki, I won't fall."

Reki looked worried, but didn't say anything. As they were turning a corner, Langa suddenly lunges forward, falling off his skateboard and scraping himself. Reki jumps off his skateboard and runs toward Langa.

Reki - "I told you something was going to happen. You should've been more careful."

Langa got up dusting himself off, and reached for his skateboard. He tried putting it down, but Reki took it from him.

Reki - "We're walking the rest of the way home."

Langa jokingly groaned, and trudged on with Reki. After a long day of having fun, they were worn out. They got to Langa's apartment and with a sudden burst of energy, Reki jumped up the stairs. 

Langa - "Hey, hold on! Wait for me!"

Langa stood at the bottom of the stairs watching Reki. Langa watched Reki laugh, and he smiled subconciously. He started laughing as well, and ran up the stairs to catch up to Reki. Once he got to the top, he tackled Reki, and they fell to the floor laughing. Once they caught their breath, they realized the situation they were in.

Langa coughed, blushing from his ears and neck, and stood up. He held out his hand and Reki grabbed it. They walked into Langa's apartment, not looking at each other. Reki's face was a bright red, but kept his head down, as to try and not let Langa see. 

Langa glanced at Reki for a second, and saw his red face. Langa swiveled back and his lightly flushed ears became beet red. 

Langa - "Mom, we're home!"

No one answered, so Langa called out again.

Langa - "Mom? Where are you?"

He walked in, taking his shoes off along the way. Reki followed him, also curious as to where Langa's mom was.

Nanako - [I went out to get some groceries. If you're hungry, eat something small, not too big, I'm making dinner for you and Reki <3 ]

Langa - "Reki? My mom says she went out to get some groceries, what do you wanna do until then?"

Reki - "Let me bandage your arm."

Langa - "Oh, right."

Reki - "You do have a first aid kit, right?"

Langa nodded his head, and headed into a closet, then came out with the first aid kit. He placed the box of ointments, and bandages, band-aids, etc.

While Reki put ointment and rubbed it, Langa flipped through the tv channels, and winced a few times.

Reki - "Sorry."

Langa - "What're you apologizing for?"

Reki - "If I had just stopped you earlier, you wouldn't have gotten hurt.."

Reki trailed off, looking at the ground.

Langa - "It's not your fault. It's mine, I didn't get off, even though you told me to."

Reki - "Thanks Langa." He smiled to himself.

Langa stayed silent for a while, then grabbed Reki's cheeks, pulling them opposite ways. He started laughing to himself, and rested his head on Reki's shoulder. 

Reki - "..Langa?"

Langa - "Let me stay like this for a while, please."

Reki blushed a bit, but didn't say anything.

Reki finished putting on Langa's bandages, and they sat on the couch together. Langa didn't say anything, a bit upset. He was upset because he wanted to rest on Reki's shoulders longer, as staying near Reki comforted him.

Reki noticed Langa, and how his face looked upset. He didn't know exactly why, but what he did next really surprised Langa.

Reki grabbed Langa's head and rested it on his shoulder again.

A/N - quietly squealing while writing this, imagining this makes my serotonin go through the roof

They began watching a movie, and when Langa heard the key unlock the door, he quickly jumped up.

Reki looked back, pausing the movie and standing up.

Langa's mom had come home, and her hands were full with bags.

Reki quickly put on his shoes and rushed outside.

Langa - "Reki! Where are you going?"

Reki didn't respond, but came back a few seconds later his hands also full with bags. 

Langa's mom looked at Langa, but he didn't notice. He was too busy staring at Reki, after all.
